Soviet Union legacy near the magnificent Tien Shan (Ala Archa canyon + city tour)

Hiking in the natural park, enjoying the nature of Tien Shan, in the afternoon get to know the capital of the Kyrgyz Republic, its historical and cultural legacy.

Meeting point and time: Main door of the State Historical Museum, Ala Too Square, 9 am.

9:00 - 10:00 1 hour drive from Bishkek to the Ala Archa National Park

10:00 - 13:30 Walking or hiking in the park

14:00 - 15:00 1 hour drive back to Bishkek

15:00 - 18:00 Bishkek sightseeing tour

Reiseverlauf:

Hiking upon arrival to the park zone. There are two hiking routes to choose: 1) along the river (the easiest route on the paved flat road); 2) up to the Ak-Sai waterfall (difficult route, unpaved steep trail).

Around 2 pm drive back to Bishkek. One more hour to reach the city and start sightseen tour:

Start at the main Ala Too Square with the Manas Monument, then walk around to the Old Square with the Parliament House and the Lenin Statue, walk through the Oak Park to the Statue of Kurmandzhan Datka at Erkindik Boulevard and Open Air Art Gallery, walk to the Opera and Ballet House, further to the Victory Square with the Eternal Flame.

Souvenirs shopping opportunities: ZUM department store at the very end of the city tour.

At the tour one of the two museums in the city center can be visited – the State Historical Museum(at the moment it is closed for repairs) or the House Museum of Frunze.

One hour for lunch at the mid-day in the park (not included into the main price). Please have some food or snacks with you.

The tour ends at around 6 pm; you can be delivered to your hotel, or any place agreed in advance.
