Red Fox Elbrus Race 2019

“The Festival of the records” – that’s how the Red Fox Elbrus Race is often called. Not only with regard to the different disciplines of the Festival, in which every year new records are set, but also to the number of participants and represented countries.

Participants of the Red Fox Elbrus Race are athletes from all over the world: Africa, Australia, Austria, Catalonia, Сzech Republic, Ecuador, Finland, France, Georgia, Greece, Italy, Indonesia, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kirgistan, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Mongolia, Nepal, New Zealand, Poland, Russia, South Spain, Switzerland, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine.

The diversity of the program allows both professional and non-professional athletes to find the discipline fitting their level and experience and to get the chance to climb up to the top of Europe, the summit of Mt. Elbrus (5642 m).

During the first week in May, about 500 athletes are taking part in the annual Red Fox Elbrus Race. Dealing with constant changes and difficult weather conditions, being exposed to high altitude differences are just some of the challenges for these athletes. The Red Fox Elbrus Race is more than just a competition. Here you can not only test your abilities and strength during the race up to the highest summit in Europe, you will also meet and make friends with like-minded people from across the globe.
