The world pandemic situation hit many spheres of activities for the short time. Quarantine period influenced business and lifestyle of people.

In such a difficult period it’s tough to keep to regular working rhythm, but we do our best in the current temporary reality.

Our company is following all the recommendations from our government to stay self-isolated. We keep working from home, process all requests and answer all questions.

We and the most of our partners were able to adapt to the worldwide digitalization. It made it easier for us to keep in touch with our partners and provide all the important information online.

We do our best to work non-stop and truly believe that together we can make it and will meet each other personally in the nearest future.

Dear friends, today Ak-Sai Travel celebrates 22 years anniversary! You’ve probably heard many times the phrase “Happy people don’t watch the time”.
And for real, no any single happy person never spotted how long his happiness lasts. This is just impossible task to do. Anyway, we tried. Starting from the 1998 it’s been passed:

And this is just a beginning! We want to thank everyone who were and be with us and to all who will join us in future.
Those seconds, minutes, hours and years were absolutely unique, filled with your smiles and unforgettable emotions. We are always happy to see our old friends and meet new people who will become our friends anyway!
We conquered many peaks, won contests, become #1 and all this thanks to your support. We congratulate everybody who are a part of the family of Ak-Sai Travel – today we are 22 years old. Happy Birthday!

We aimed to reach frozen waterfall Tiketor (5.6 km one way) following the rugged mountainous terrain. The weather was perfect, no any single cloud during the day. While hiking, children familiarized with mountain relief, learned the safety code of stay in the mountains and trained their skills of moving in groups in the mountains area. Also children found out where two famous peaks Kyrgyzstan and Aman Too are situated. When we reached our goal, everybody camp nearby for lunch and some active games.

“Travel, Discover, Help” project continuous its program and is going to take kids to the annual trek to Konorcheck canyon for 2-3 days, that situated on the border between Chui and Issyk Kul Lake valleys.

Time goes by in “Travel Discover Help” and this is our second visit to the mentioned University as we’ve got new generation of children from the Voenno-Antonovka orphanage

Children were taken through all rooms and shown all technical equipment of aircrafts and airports. Also it has been demonstrated an idea of how to be a pilot, board attendant (steward and stewardess) and aircraft mechanic. Children took this with enthusiasm, especially one girl that strongly decided to bound her life with aviation. Then we took part at exhibition of the local museum, that is small but very informative to tell the story of the Soviet Aviation. Also we learned biography of Timur Frunze – the son of the famous red-army leader Mikhail Frunze.

Here we aimed to orient our wards to choose their future. We truly believe that our visits will open wide opportunities and ideas that will help to make the right choice of the future life.

All the guys have been waiting for this trip for more than a month, due to the temporary restriction of visits to public events.

30 guys of the orphanage took part in the trip, together with our project team. Upon arrival, we were divided into 2 groups, for safety reasons, because only 16 participants can be on the training ground at the same time. While the first group participated in the battle, the second could observe and develop their tactics of conducting the game. For all the guys this was the first experience of playing paintball, and everyone really enjoyed it!

Recall that the main goal of the Travel Discover Help project is the organization and conduct of travel and trips, as well as educational and cultural programs. But similar trips of an entertaining nature also happen. We have planned a lot of useful and interesting things for February.

Kyrgyzstan, like every country in Central Asia, carefully preserves the “golden fund” of national traditions and continues to pass it on from generation to generation even nowadays.

As in ancient times, customs come take their places. When two people want to get married, before the wedding they need to perform several rites, which will mean the union of two families – the bride and groom. Before the wedding itself, the bride’s relatives should arrange “kyz uzatu” – a ceremony of the bride’s send-off to her new family. This is one of the most ancient traditions of the Kyrgyz people, a very moving and exciting event for every Kyrgyz girl and her parents.

The bride’s send-off procedure consists of three parts.

1 part. Dressing the bride in a special outfit.
2-part. Braid weaving
3-part. Elechek winding. Girl says goodbye to her mother.

They believe that Shyokulyo and all carefully inherited things and jewelry were considered to bring happiness. In the triumph of the bride’s seeing off, one can notice the features of differences in the clothes of girls, women and venerable mothers. The celebration is invariably accompanied by the traditional music of komuz and ooz komuz.

Nowadays, people usually celebrate Kyz Uzatu in a restaurant. Groom comes first to the restaurant with flowers bouquet and waits for bride coming. The oldest and respected man reads bata (words of blessing) and than all the party begins. At the end of Kyz Uzatu, all the guests make a circle and the bride comes to each guest as if she says good-bye to they all. Grooms takes her hand and they go away without looking back.
