Day 1. Bishkek city – National Park Ala Archa – Bishkek city. (40 km / 1 hour / Bus)

Arrival at the airport “Manas”. Meeting with a guide and driver.
Transfer to Bishkek city on a bus.
Accommodation in a hotel. Early check-in is included.
On this day we have a tour on a bus to Ala Archa Natural Park, which is located in a picturesque gorge of Ala-Archa 40 km from Bishkek. It is a popular place for hiking, skiing and mountaineering including trips to more than 20 glaciers.
Upon return to city, lunch in café and after that we have sightseeing tour in Bishkek:
Visit Ala Too Square, Kurmanzhan Datka Monument, main governmental buildings, Old Square with Parliament House and Lenin’s Monument. Finish at the Victory square dedicated to the WWII.
Dinner in cafe, overnight in hotel.

Day 2. Bishkek city – Too Ashuu ski base. (120 km / 3 hours / 4×4)

In the morning we will go through the procedure of delivery-acceptance of the jeeps. It takes about 1 hour. PLEASE NOTE: 500 USD Deposit must be paid upon the transfer of the vehicle to the participants and examination of it by them. The deposit is paid back in full to the clients if no damage to the vehicle is done.
Today our way goes from Bishkek city over Too Ashuu pass (3586m) to Too Ashuu ski base located on the southern slope of the Too Ashuu pass, at an altitude of 3,000 meters above sea level, 120 km from Bishkek. The height of snow cover in the ski season reaches 1.5 – 2 m.
The average temperature of the ski season is -3.6 ° C.

Day 3. Too Ashuu ski base – Kokomeren river – Kochkor village (250 km / 5-6 hours / 4×4)

Today we will go through Suusamyr Valley. On the way you admire beautifully frozen Kokomeren River and organize photo stops.
Upon arrival to Kochkor village, accommodation and dinner at a guest house. Here we watch felt produsing demonstration – “shyrdak show”. You will take part in Ala Kiyiz making. During the felt making you will learn types of traditional carpets. After show visit the handicraft museum and shop.

Day 4. Kochkor – Barskaun Gorge – Karakol (370 km / 4-5 hours / 4×4)

Today we will drive along the southern shore of Issyk Kul Lake (the second largest high mountainous lake in the world after Titicaca) to Karakol town. On the way visit Barskaun Gorge. This gorge is famous for its waterfalls and gold-bearing rivers. Gorge has a length of about 10 kilometers. There is also a route to the Kumtor pass, where gold is produced nowadays.
In Barskaun we meet a hunter and his bird. After the demonstration you will have a chance to ask the hunter about tradition of eagle hunting and his bird features. You can take a closer look at the Bird and hold it in your hands! 
Continue drive to Karakol town. Accommodation in hotel. When having a meal at dungan family in Karakol town, we can watch a housewife cooking traditional food. She teaches how to make noodles for lagman. At the end we try the lagman altogether.
Overnight in hotel.

Day 5. Karakol town – Karkara valley. (120 km / 2.5 – 3 hours / 6×6)

After the breakfast we will go to Karkara valley. The road is covered with deep snow and needs a Special truck 6×6 (Vakhtovka) to drive up, so we will leave jeeps parked at the hotel. Karkara base is located in 120 kilometers from Karakol town.  There are warm cottages/yurts, bath, kitchen, dining yurt with a stove and a place for drying things.
Upon arrival, lunch in BC “Karkara”.
There are good areas for ski touring and/or snowmobiling (with driver).  You can go on snowmobiles through passes and along valleys. The level of snow cover is from 60 to 120 cm.
Upon return, dinner in BC “Karkara”.
You can enjoy sauna in the camp.
Overnight in cottages/yurts.

Day 6. Karkara valley – Karakol town (120 km / 2.5 – 3 hours / 6×6)

After the breakfast we take some time for snowmobiling (with driver).
In the afternoon transfer back to Karakol with the special truck 6×6 (Vakhtovka). On the way we will visit the memorial Museum of N. M. Przhevalski, the outstanding Russian explorer of Asian continent.
Accommodation in the hotel. Dinner in café.

Day 7. Karakol town – Semenovskoe gorge – Grigorevskoe gorge – Cholpon Ata town (200 km / 3-4 hours / 4×4)

In the morning we leave Karakol town and drive along the Northern shore of Issyk Kul Lake.
Having 60 km along the good asphalt road and take a turn towards Kungei Ala Too (Sunny mountains). In 15 km we enter Semenovskoe gorge (called after a great Russian explorer of Tien Shan Mountains Semenov-Tienshanskii who was here in the 50-60s of the 19th century in expeditions). Once we reach the end of the gorge we go over a mountain pass and then end up in the next gorge Grigorievskoe. 60 more kilometers down to reach the asphalt main road again.
After lunch in café, we have an excursion to so called “Stone Garden” or Cholpon Ata Petroglyphs site. It is a large open-air collection of rock carvings, which covers about 42 hectares and contains a number of prehistoric monumental structures (stone circles, tombs, the remains of a boundary stone wall, Balbals) and Petroglyphs (dated back Sak-Usun period from 9-8 century up to 3-5 century AD).

Day 8. Cholpon Ata town – Bishkek city (260 km / 4-5 hours / 4×4, Bus)

After the breakfast we will take another beautiful drive on to Bishkek city. En route visit Architectural- Archeological Complex “Burana Tower” (UNESCO).
Burana Tower (ancient minaret) is located in 12 km far from Tokmok town. The territory where the tower is located was called Balasagyn town. This town had the strategic meaning for the Great Silk Road. Continue our drive to Bishkek.
Accommodation in the hotel. When we are coming back to Bishkek, we will make a stop for car washing. Upon return to Bishkek, cars are returned back to the company. The Lessee shall return the vehicle in full complete stated in the Delivery-Acceptance report.  The Lessee shall return the vehicle with the same quantity of fuel as at the moment of receipt. The deposit is paid back in full if no damage to the vehicle is done.
Dinner in cafe with folklore show. Specially for you musicians will play national melodies of Kyrgyz people and show their musical instruments. You will listen to a singing and enjoy the charming melodies of our ancestors.

Day 1. Bishkek city – Karkara base camp (490 km / 6-7 hours)

9:00 am pick up from the place we agreed beforehand in Bishkek city (it can be a hotel, a guest house, etc.)
Today we head to the Issyk Kul Lake. First of all one hour drive to Tokmok town to visit Burana Tower historical complex for excursion, that also lasts 1 hour.
After excursion drive 15 minutes more to reach lunch place in a local family of Tokmok town (included).
Later drive to Karkara base camp, which situated on the north shore of Issyk Kul Lake. Around 5-6 pm arrival to Karkara Base. Pass border control before reach the camp. Accommodation and overnight in the tent camp. Dinner is included. Overnight.

Day 2. Karkara base camp – Helicopter flight to South Inylchek base camp – Karkara base camp. Transfer to Bishkek

Breakfast in the tent camp at 6 am. Usually helicopter start flights early in the morning, around 7 am. Head to the South Inylchek base camp. “South Inylchek” Base Camp is situated in the heart of North Tian-Shan at the South Inylchek glacier, approximately at 4000 m asl. It has a picturesque view on Khan-Tengri peak (7010 m) and Pobeda Peak (7439 m).

Meeting at the airport. Drive to the hotel. Check in. Free time. Aktau port city is a center of the region. It is a well-developed modern city with quite good infrastructure. There is a wide range of hotels (starting from guesthouses up to five star hotels), restaurants and cafes. It is highly recommended to have a walk along the seafront (6$ per person) and you would definitely enjoy eating local fish (sturgeon and mullet) in one of those fancy restaurants located nearby. Day 2 Aktau – Kapamsai gorge. Total distance – 250km.
We’re going to visit the lake with fossil turtle, have a walk on “ground-that-fell-through” and visit one of the underground mosques. Lunch while driving. Dinner and overnight in tents in Kapamsai gorge. B – hotel

Day 3 Kapamsai Gorge– Kogez ethno-aool (ethno-village). Distance 250km.

Breakfast. Today we’re going to visit two fantastic spots – Torish, a field of stone balls, and Sharkala mount. Torish, a valley of stone balls, is one of the most captivating spots in Mangistau. Scientists are still arguing for already 250 years about the origin of those stone balls. It is still not clear though. Sherkala is a legendary mount with a fortress that has been built here in the Middle Ages. That fortress used to keep watch and ward caravan track of the Great Silk Road. “Sherkala” means “Lion Mount” or “Lion’s fortress” in Turk language. We also going to see a multi-color Kokala canyon. Lunch while driving. Dinner (is not paid) and overnight stay in ethno-aool (room sleeping four). Feel free to take a shower, use local bar and the internet. B – camp

Day 4 Kogez ethno-aool – Tuzbayir area. Total distance 250km.

Breakfast. Today we’re going to visit Airakty and Shomanai castle valleys, and then enjoy the view of а sharply white Tuzbayir area. It’s a majestic creature of nature. This is the place where Ustyurt plateau suddenly turns into a cascade of chalkstone stairs. Those stairs end with a widely spread white alkali soil, they call it “sor” in here. Lunch while driving. Dinner and overnight stay in tents in Tuzbayir area. B- camp

Day 5 Tuzbayir area– Boszhira area. Distance 170km

Day 6 Boszhira area.

Breakfast. Lets’ call this day a trekking day! We’re going to walk in here and explore local special spots. Boszhira area is full of outstanding and breathtaking landmarks of Mangistau nature. It is a chain of residual hills on the outskirts of west cliff of Ustyurt plateau. The location of this chain at the bottom of the huge canyon makes the view looking fantastic. Day 7 Boszhira area – Aktau. 280km

Breakfast. Today is the last day of our tour. We’re going to visit Bokty mount and go back to Aktau through Senek sands. It is an extraordinary residual chalkstone mount. It changes its shape depending on the view points, it might look like a giant boat turned upside down from one point and like a giant colourful pyramid, cut across with blades looking like paws, from the other point. You can see a Bokty mount on a 1000 tenge banknote. Check in the hotel. Free time. Accommodation in Aktau hotel. B- camp

Day 1. Arrival to Bishkek. Excursion to Ala Archa Natural park (120 km / 2 hours).

Altitude: Bishkek – 900 m asl; Ala Archa – 2200 m asl
Elevation difference: +1300 m asl, -1300 m asl
Biking: up to 60 km, unpaved road and partially asphalt

Upon arrival to the international airport “Manas” you will be met by the local guide. Transfer to the hotel and rest. Breakfast at the hotel.
After breakfast we have excursion to Ala-Archa gorge (40 km). This road is not so interesting for biking, because of the constant traffic and it’s much better to use a bus to reach Ala Archa. Lunch BBQ in the canyon.
Ala Archa National Natural Park located in a picturesque gorge of Ala Archa 40 km off from Bishkek. It is a popular place for hiking, skiing and mountaineering including trips to more than 20 glaciers. It covers an area of 200 km2 mostly forested valleys, waterfalls and rivers rich in trout. The altitude of ranges varies from 1500m to the highest point 4895m. Several rare species of fauna and especially traditionally revered juniper trees are under protection in the Natural Park. It has very diverse fauna: mountain meadows are the habitat for wild goats, deer and marmots. Ala Archa National Park is one of the few places of the habitat of the rare snow leopard. At the territory of the park you can trek up the Ala Archa gorge along the mountain river to enjoy views of magnificent peaks of Kyrgyz Alatau Ridge (Tien Shan Mountains)
Meeting with another bus, which packed with bikes. Repack bikes and prepare them for biking and ride about 25-35 km (distance depends on your wishes) by foothills of Kyrgyz Ala-Too mountains (there are few unpaved roads which lead to the city).
Cycling back to the Bishkek city. Dinner in a local restaurant/café. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 2. Bishkek – Bokonbaev village (280 km / 4-5 hours).

Altitude: Bishkek – 900 m asl; Issyk Kul – 1600 m asl
Elevation difference: +700 m
Biking: 80 km asphalt (old type of asphalt road).

Early breakfast in the hotel. Departure from the city at 8:00 am directly to south shore of Issyk Kul Lake. Lunch en route.
Drive to Bokonbaev village and accommodation in the yurt camp nearby.
Optionally: Upon arrival to Bokonbaevo village you can stay in a yurt camp and have a rest or cycle to Kadji Sai village and swim in the lake. 80 km both ways.
Issyk Kul Lake is the second largest alpine lake in the world after Lake Titicaca in South America. Measuring 182 km long by 58 km wide. You can swim in the lake enclosed on all sides by the snowy peaks of the Tien Shan Mountains. Extremely deep and nicely warm over the centuries the lake has been something of an oasis in this inhospitable mountain environment. With diverse flora and fauna Issyk-Kul Lake and the surrounding environments are rightly considered to be one of Central Asia most remarkable locations.

Day 3. Over Korgomdu Bulak Pass.

Altitude: Issyk Kul Lake – 1600 m asl; Korgomdu Bulak Pass – 2540 m asl; Tent camp – 2900 m asl
Elevation difference: +940 m; +360 m.
Cycling: 35 km + (20 km extra optionally)

Cycling over Korgomdu Bulak Pass (2540 a.s.l.) and sleep in tents at the altitude 2900 a.s.l. Our bus will leave us at the camp-site (Tosor Pass sometimes is not available even for 4WD truck) and drive around via Kochkor and Sary Bulak villages. We meet our bus at the camp side at the evening.
One of the great mountain systems of Central Asia, the Tien Shan is the most distant, unknown and captivating. A boundless expanse of peaks, many of which have never been explored. The unknown valleys are populated by nomadic shepherds living in their traditional dwelling – yurt. Most of the valleys have no tourist facilities or even villages, and in some cases there are no roads.
Arrival to the camp and lunch. After that you are free to stay here and relax or continue cycling around. It all depends on your physical skills and how well-adapted you are to high altitudes.
Dinner and overnight in a tent camp at the altitude 2900 m asl.

Day 4. Over Tosor pass.

Altitude: Tosor pass – 3893 m asl; Tent Camp – 3000m asl
Elevation difference: +993 m, -893 m.
Biking: 58 km, unpaved road and mountain path

Cycle 23 km up to Tosor Pass (3893 a.s.l.) and then down 35 km until Jely Suu hot springs. Night in tents (about 3000 a.s.l.) Tonight and tomorrow you will sleep in tents because there are no yurt camps. Just a small inconvenience for being in the middle of nowhere!
Please have in mind it will be the most challenging day for cycling. If you’re not sure that you can complete the day on bicycle, it would be better to take the bus.

Day 5. Radial ride to Teshik Kul Lake.

Altitude: Teshik Kul Lake – 3720 m asl;
Elevation difference: +720 m asl, -720 m asl.
Hiking: 10 km, unpaved road and mountain path

This day you hike up to the Teshik Kul Lake (3720 m) (10 km both ways). The place is perfect for fishing. If you want to fish, please bring your spinners and hooks.
There are about two thousand mountain lakes in Kyrgyzstan, most of which are located at altitudes between 2500 and 4000 meters above sea level. The lakes in their majority were formed as a result of glaciation. “Kul”, means “lake” in Kyrgyz. The word “Teshik” means “ hole” or “pit”. The landscape in the lake is just marvelous.
Way back to the tent camp. Dinner and overnight.

Day 6. To Eki Narin Gorge.

Altitude: Tent Camp – 2500 m asl
Elevation difference: – 500 m asl
Biking: 68 km, unpaved road and mountain path (the last 30 km will run in forest)

68 km ride to Eki Narin Gorge, mostly down as our camp this night will be at the altitude 2500 a.s.l.
Our way goes through amazing landscapes with celestial mountains and vast valleys, fascinating views of snow-capped mountain rangers and awesome gorges with fast mountain rivers, alpine lakes and nomads living in yurts, shepherds driving their flocks of sheep and herds of horses and cows up to the mountains in spring and bring them down to the valleys in autumn.
The bus will escort all the day long. Dinner and overnight in tent camp.

Day 7. To Son Kul Lake (250 km / 5 hours).

Altitude: Moldo Ashuu – 3346 m asl; Son Kul Lake – 3016 m asl
Elevation difference: +846 m asl, -330 m asl.
Biking: no biking this day.

After breakfast we start drive to Son Kul Lake via Moldo Ashuu Pass. All the day in the bus with several photo and toilet stops, including lunch picnic.
Son Kul is an alpine Lake located in the Tien Shan range. The territory around Son Kul is considered the best pasture in Kyrgyzstan. The area preserves all the attributes of nomadic life and it’s an ideal place to meet nomadic families in their yurts! They might offer you a tea or traditional dairy products like our national drink Kymyz (fermented mare’s milk). Get ready to step into nomadic life!
Arrival to Son Kul Lake and accommodation in a yurt camp. Dinner and overnight.

Day 8. Son Kul Lake – Naryn town (180 km / 3 hours).

Altitude: Son Kul Lake – 3016 m asl; “33 Parrots” Pass – 3133 m asl; Naryn town – 2000 m asl.
Elevation difference: +117 m asl, -1133 m asl.
Biking: 70 km, unpaved road and mountain path (wide unpaved road)

About 70 km ride from the lake to the main road over mountain pass Terskey Torpok (3133m asl), serpentine road till the asphalt part, where we finish our cycling and move further to Naryn by bus.
Naryn is a town with a long, thin shape between high cliffs. The modern town was founded in 1868 as a Russian garrison town, and much of the current town is post-war (Soviet architecture). Old settlements have been found in caves near Naryn, suggesting there were civilizations in elder ages. Naryn is the only town in Kyrgyzstan where 90% of the population is Kyrgyz.
Arrival to Naryn town and accommodation in a hotel. Dinner and overnight.

Day 9. Naryn town – Tash Rabat Caravanserai (115 km / 1,5 hours).

Altitude: Naryn – 2200 m asl; Tash Rabat – 3200 m asl.
Elevation difference: +1200 m asl.
Biking: 22 km unpaved road.

After breakfast we start drive to Tash Rabat caravanserai – 100 km. At the end of asphalt road, we start cycling until the yurt camp (8 km).
Accommodation in yurt camp.
Optionally: Upon arrival to the yurt camp you can cycle to Tash Rabat Caravanserai (14 km both ways).
Tash Rabat caravanserai is a carefully restored stone building that once housed an inn on the Great Silk Road. Its date of origin is a complete mystery; however, archaeological evidences suggest the site was occupied in the 10-11th century.
Dinner and overnight in the yurt camp.

Day 10. Tash Rabat Caravanserai – Bishkek city (480 km / 6-7 hours).

Altitude: Tash Rabat – 3200 m asl, Naryn town – 2000 m asl, Bishkek – 900 m asl.
Elevation difference: -2300 m
Biking: no biking this day.

Today we leave Tash Rabat Caravanserai and drive to Bishkek via Naryn town and Kochkor village.
Lunch in Kochkor village in local family, where possible to visit souvenir shop-museum and buy some stuff.
Evening arrival to Bishkek city. If it won’t be too late, we will be able to visit Osh oriental market or central square Ala Too.
Dinner in a local café.
Optionally: Dinner in a local restaurant with folklore performance. During dinner we take the unique opportunity to listen traditional Kyrgyz folk-show. The musicians in traditional Kyrgyz costumes present you a wide range of national musical instruments – starting from Komuz (a three-stringed wooden musical instrument)  to Chopo Choi (wind instrument made of mountain reed). You hear the fascinating singing of young Kyrgyz ladies or men.
Overnight in a hotel.

Day 1. Bishkek city – Ala Archa National Park– Bishkek city. (80 km / 1 hour)

Upon arrival in Manas International airport you will be welcomed by our guide and transferred to a hotel in Bishkek (early check-in is included).
After rest and breakfast, you start the rental process for the jeeps, which takes about 1 hour. PLEASE NOTE: 500 USD Deposit must be paid after participants examine the car and agree with the rental conditions. The deposit is fully paid back if no damage to the vehicle is done.
Start driving to Ala Archa, a popular place for hiking, skiing and mountaineering including trips to more than 20 glaciers. In Ala Archa there are several hikes suitable for different levels. In each of them you will be surrounded by the stunning Kyrgyz nature.
Lunch in Ala Archa. In the evening, drive back to the hotel.
Dinner in a local restaurant. Overnight in a hotel.

Day 2. Bishkek city – Chichkan gorge (250 km / 5 hours)

Your journey starts driving to Chichkan via picturesque canyons, passes, and gorges. Tuya Ashuu pass (3586 m asl) is especially dramatic! From there, you may see the vast valleys Chui and Suusamyr.
Lunch en route.
Upon arrival in Chichkan Natural Reserve you will be accommodated in the road motel. Free time in the afternoon to explore the park or relax at the bank of the mountain river. Overnight in Oson Motel.

Day 3. Chichkan gorge – Sary Chelek State Natural Reserve (350 km / 6 hours)

After breakfast, long drive to Sary Chelek, one of the most beautiful National Parks in Kyrgyzstan. On the way you will see the largest water reservoir in the country –Toktogul.
Lunch en route.
Upon arrival to Arkyt village, dinner and accommodation in a local family guesthouse. Dinner and overnight.

Day 4. Sary Chelek State Natural Reserve – Arslanbob village (240 km / 5-6 hours)

Morning drive to the lake area to enjoy the beauty of this marvelous place, walk around, and return back to village Arkyt for the lunch.
After lunch drive back to the main road that leads to Osh and continue drive along the Fergana valley. Pass over Kochkor Ata village, drive close to the border with Uzbekistan and reach famous Arslanbob village, where we stop at the local family house. Free time around the village, dinner and overnight.

Day 5. Arslanbob village – Kazarman village (230 km / 6-7 hours)

After breakfast, walk up to the first waterfall (aprox 1,5 hours walk in total, hiking shoes required). After the hike, drive further along the Fergana valley through Jalal Abad town and over Kaldama pass (3000 m asl) to Kazarman village. Today we step into the unpaved road conditions and dramatic passes, that really fill emotions of the real self-drive adventure.

Evening arrival to Kazarman village. Dinner and overnight in a local family guesthouse.

Day 6. Kazarman village – Tash Rabat Caravanserai* (300 km / 6-7 hours)

After breakfast, you hit the road through many amazing mountain passes. Half of the way goes through unpaved, bumpy roads.
Lunch on the way (picnic).
Stop in Naryn town, a town between cliffs with a long and narrow shape. It is the only town in Kyrgyzstan where 90% of the population is Kyrgyz. Fill up your car and visit the local market or shops.
Upon arrival in Tash Rabat, accommodation in a yurt* camp. Dinner and overnight
*A yurt is a circular dwelling made of lattice of flexible poles and covered in felt or other fabric. Being easily portable, it is used by Kyrgyz nomads.

Day 7. Tash Rabat caravanserai – Son Kul Lake (180 km / 5 hours)

Early morning excursion to Tash Rabat caravanserai, one of the main archaeological sites in Kyrgyzstan. In times of the Great Silk road, caravanserais were used as an accommodation for merchants during their long travels.
After the visit, drive towards Son Kul through another road with incredible views.

Evening arrival to Son Kul, the second biggest alpine lake in Kyrgyzstan. Accommodation in a yurt camp. Dinner and overnight.

Day 8. Son Kul – Bishkek (400 km / 6 hours)

Time to return back to Bishkek through Kalmak Ashuu pass. Lunch in Kochkor village, where you visit a local women cooperation to learn a bit more about felt and see local famous souvenir shop-museum. Optionally: felt producing demonstration.
Drive further to Chui valley and Tokmor town where we visit Burana tower historical complex where you can explore an ancient minaret built in the 11th century and designated as the world heritage by UNESCO, as well as a collection of Balbals (stone statues honoring dead ancestors) and a small museum where valuable pieces found.
On your way to Bishkek, fast stop for car washing/fueling. Upon arrival in Bishkek, cars are returned back to the company. You should return the vehicle with the same quantity of fuel as received in the beginning. The full deposit is paid back if no damage to the vehicle is done.

Dinner in a local restaurant. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 9. Bishkek – Airport (30 km / 40 min)

Transfer to the airport. End of service.
