Fascinating seven days tour is a unique opportunity to learn more about the most interesting historical facts of Kyrgyzstan and see spectacular natural aspects.

During this tour you will visit the Kyrgyz pearl – Issyk–Kul lake, enjoy the natural beauty, see a lot of cultural sights. There you will visit archaeological complex “Burana tower”, an open air museum of Petroglyphs, Sovier Union legacy of Karakol town and many more. This tour will present you a lot of memorable impressions and let you learn new complex culture in its best.

Itinerary

Day 1. (MON) Airport Manas – Bishkek city.

Upon arrival to the International Airport “Manas” at 04:40 am – meet your guide and driver.
Short transfer to the city of Bishkek. Accommodation in a local hotel (early check-in is included).
Rest, breakfast at the hotel and start sightseeing tour in Bishkek.
Visit Manas, Lenin and Kurmanjan Datka Monuments, main Ala-Too Square to watch ceremony of changing of Guards of Honor, main governmental buildings, Oak park, Fine art gallery, Old Square with Parliament House. Transfer to the Victory Square to finish the city tour by short excursion there.
Overnight at the hotel. Free time at the evening.

Day 2. (TUE) Bishkek – Chon Kemin Valley.

After breakfast, one-hour drive to Burana Tower (UNESCO site) near Tokmok town.
Optionally: horseback riding games near Burana Tower.
Drive to Chon Kemin valley.
Upon arrival, get accommodated in the guest house Ashuu.
Lunch.
Options to do this day:
1) Walking around the village Kalmak Ashuu.
2) Renting horses and ride up to the closest mountains (extra cost).
3) Horseback riding games nearby (extra cost).
4) Setting yurt (nomadic house) (extra cost).
5) Swimming in the pool (extra cost).
Dinner and overnight in the guest house.

Day 3. (WEDN) Chon Kemin valley – Cholpon Ata town.

After breakfast, drive to Issyk Kul Lake via Boom gorge and to the Northern shore of Issyk Kul Lake.
Arrival to Cholpon Ata town we have several thigs to do:
1) Open air Petroglyphs site.
2) Historical Museum.
Optionally: boat cruise in a local club.
After excursions, drive to the hotel and get accommodation in the resort area with spa, pool, sport complex and shore of Issyk Kul lake itself.
Overnight in the hotel.

Day 4. (THUR) Cholpon Ata town – Karkara valley.

Continue drive along the north shore of Issyk Kul Lake.
Today we reach beautiful area at the border with Kazakhstan – Karkara. Here we stop at the luxury yurt camp with private facilities.
Here we have time to explore the area walking along the canyon up and down, climb up closest hill to see panoramic view, ride horse or mountain bike. Up to you and your preferences.
(Winter time ski mobiles are available for ride for extra).
Lunch and dinner in Karkara camp.

Day 5. (FRI) Karkara valley – Karakol town.

Optionally: early morning helicopter excursion to the south Inylchek glacier. The best highlight of Kyrgyzstan and very deep impression for all life (July and August only).
Transfer to Karakol town.
En route visit Museum of N. M. Przhevalski on the way to Karakol, then Dungan mosque a unique building in a style of the Chinese pagoda which is functioning mosque up to now and Russian Orthodox Holy Trinity Church built of wood inside Karakol town.
Also, transfer to the Karakol ski base. Walking around, explore the area of forests and slopes. Funicular excursion to the top of ski slopes at the altitude 3000 m asl (for extra charge, order in advance).
Summer time: ride up to the top on the funicular, walking around the area, enjoy the nature and Spruce Forest.
Winter times: ski opportunities, rent equipment on place, ski pass (for extra).
Accommodation in a hotel of Karakol.

Day 6. (SATU) Karakol town – Djety Oguz gorge – Bokonbaev village – Bishkek city.

In the morning we start our way back to Bishkek city. Drive along the south shore of Issyk Kul lake. Firstly, head to Djety Oguz gorge to see famous “7 Bulls” and “Broken Heart” Rock.
Drive further and reach Kadjy Sai area where stop at “Fairytale” canyon to have walk and admire unusual mountain formation.
Optionally: Golden eagle hunting demonstration
After two excursion stop in Bokonbaev village for lunch in a local family.
Evening arrival back to Bishkek and get accommodated to the hotel.
Free time, evening at leisure.
Optionally: folklore show during the dinner.

Day 7. (SUN) Bishkek city – airport.

Early morning transfer to the airport. Flight back to UAE by the flight at 05:50.

Clothes and equipment:

You can take all necessary things. Please take into consideration that in summer time the temperature in Bishkek city reaches up to 40 oC and in the mountains the temperature decreases to 10 oC. Be prepared for unexpected changes of the weather.

Recommended:

• Rain-coat
• Sweater/fleece
• Wind-stopper
• Enough t-shirts and other underwear (think of taking smth with long sleeves to avoid sunburns)
• Hat (remember – the sun can be violent)
• Sun-screen cream (30 or higher)
• Insect repellent (skin + clothes)
• Good trekking boots for easy hikes in the mountains.
• Walking shoes (don’t need heavy ones) for the city walks
• Personal first aid kit (most likely problems: blisters, sunburns, allergy, diarrhea, sore muscles after hikes. Take painkillers, anti-histaminic, antibiotics of general action, and anything you need for your usual medical conditions).
• Personal hygiene kit (disinfection gel is highly recommended) + some toilet paper.
• A small towel
• Swimming suit (for Issyk-Kul)
• Sunglasses
• Photo camera
• Notepad and a pen to make notes as you travel
• A smaller backpack, except for your normal suitcase.
• Flash light (torch)
• Walking poles if needed

Money exchange - if you plan to exchange dollars /euro/ to KGS, we recommend to take the notes of 50, 100 USD/EURO without stamps, inscriptions and other any damage, because damaged banknotes are not accepted by banks and exchange offices.
