Day 1.<\/span> Bishkek (300 km \/ 30-40 minutes)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Upon arrival meeting at the airport and transfer to hotel where you can rest after your long flight (early check-in).<\/strong><\/p>\n

After breakfast we walk around main Ala Too Square<\/strong> with Manas Monument<\/strong>, the main national hero of the Kyrgyz people, main governmental buildings, at the Old Square<\/strong> with Parliament House<\/strong>, walk through Oak Park<\/strong> to the Opera and Ballet theatre<\/strong> and finish at Victory Square. <\/strong>The capital and industrial center of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek is a city of wide avenues, beautiful buildings and Soviet heritage.<\/em><\/p>\n

We can also visit local market – Osh Bazaar<\/strong> (closed on Monday. We will stroll across the colorful rows of fruit and vegetables, nuts and sweets, pastry and grains, meat and cheese. This is a really nice photo opportunity!<\/p>\n

Day 2.<\/span> Bishkek \u2013 Son Kul lake\u00a0 (380 km \/ 6 hours)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Breakfast at the hotel.<\/p>\n

We will go through the procedure of delivery-acceptance of the jeeps. It takes about 1 hour.<\/p>\n

PLEASE NOTE: 500 USD Deposit must be paid upon the transfer of the vehicle to the participants and examination of it by them.\u00a0 The deposit is paid back in full to the clients if no damage to the vehicle is done<\/strong><\/p>\n

Today we will have a long drive to Son Kul Lake,<\/strong> so we leave early in the morning. The road to the lake lies through Boom gorge; Orto Tokoi Reservoir and dramatic Kalmak Ashuu pass<\/strong> (3445 m).<\/p>\n

Kochkor village where local people make felt, various carpets, embroidering and spinning, and other handicraft stuff. We also visit a handicraft museum and a shop, where you can buy different masterpieces \u2013 starting from huge felt-silk blankets, finishing with small Christmas tree decorations.<\/em><\/p>\n

Alpine Son Kul Lake is located on Tien Shan range at the elevation of 3016 m.<\/p>\n

Arrival at Son Kul Yurt Camp.\u00a0 Accommodation in yurts 3-4 pax. Here you can feel like a real nomads and get acquainted with the culture of Kyrgyz people.<\/p>\n

Day 3.<\/span> Son Kul \u2013 Bokonbaevo (270 km \/ 4 hours)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

After the breakfast free time when you can take a walk to the lake or hike up the mountains where the panoramic view opens up.<\/p>\n

After lunch departure to Bokonbaevo village<\/strong> along the southern shore of Issyk Kul lake. Issyk Kul Lake has a tectonic origin. It is a second largest alpine lake in the world after Titicaca located in South America. Its length reaches 182 km, and width is 58 km, maximum depth is up to 668 m. During the summer period the water reaches up to 20-25 Co.<\/em><\/p>\n

Day 4.<\/span> Bokonbaevo \u2013 Karakol (200 km \/ 4-5 hours)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

After breakfast drive to Karakol town.<\/p>\n

On the way you admire beautiful landscape and changing of scenery.<\/p>\n

You will make a stop at one of the most beautiful places for a short walk. The place is Fairy Tale Canyon (Skazka)<\/strong>. The canyon looks scenic with the dark blue Issyk Kul Lake on the background.<\/p>\n

After a walk we continue our way to Djety Oguz gorge. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Djety Oguz from Kyrgyz language is translated as Seven Bulls. Unlike Fairy Tale Canyon this picturesque gorge differs in the mountains covered with Tien Shan fir tree. At the beginning of the gorge you will face a famous Broken Heart Rock. Further drive to Kok Jaiyk Jailoo. From there you hike up to the waterfall. On the way a breathtaking panoramic view opens up.<\/p>\n

In Jety Oguz gorge we meet a hunter and his bird. Upon request we offer 2 types of demonstration: 1) hunt on a rabbit (alive)2) hunt on a fox skin (artificial). After the demonstration you will have a chance to ask the hunter about tradition of eagle hunting and his bird features. You can take a closer look at the Bird and hold it in your hands! <\/em><\/p>\n

Drive to Karakol town after the walk. Dinner at a local Uighur\/Dungan family.<\/p>\n

Day 5.<\/span> Karakol \u2013 Chon Kemin (350 km \/ 5 hours)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>After breakfast you will visit Dungan mosque<\/strong> a unique building in a style of the Chinese pagoda which is functioning mosque up to now. Also you will visit Russian Orthodox Holy Trinity Church <\/strong>built of wood without a single nail used. In the miraculous iconostasis of the church there is the famous Tikhvinian icon of Divine Mother, painted in 1897.<\/p>\n

Drive to Cholpon Ata town.<\/p>\n

We visit the Open air Petroglyphs Museum.<\/strong> Petroglyphs are dated back to Sak-Usun period from 9-8 century up to 3-5 century AD. The territory where Petroglyphs are found lying below the Kungey Alatoo Mountains with a beautiful view of the lake.<\/em><\/p>\n

Further drive to Chon Kemin valley.<\/p>\n

Dinner and overnight at the guest house.<\/p>\n

Day 6.<\/span> Chon Kemin \u2013 Bishkek (190 km \/ 3 hours)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

After breakfast, we drive back to Bishkek.<\/p>\n

En route we will visit Architectural- Archeological Complex \u201cBurana Tower\u201d<\/strong> (UNESCO heritage).<\/p>\n

Burana Tower (ancient minaret) is located in Tokmok town. The territory where the tower is located was called Balasagyn town. This town had the strategic meaning for Great Silk Road. Here you will see a small museum with exhibits found at excavations, providing more details about this ancient settlement, and become familiar with collection of Balbals, turkic grave marks.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em>When we are coming back to Bishkek, we will make a stop for car washing. Upon return to Bishkek, cars are returned back to Ak-Sai Travel. Employees of Ak-Sai Travel will check the cars. The deposit is paid back in full to the clients if no damage to the vehicle is done.<\/p>\n
