Day 1.<\/strong><\/span> Bishkek (30 km \/ 35 min)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Arrival in Bishkek. Upon arrival at the International Airport Manas you will be met by our tourist guide at arrival gates. Transfer to the city will take 30-40 min. Hotel check in at 14 pm (Early check in is not included<\/strong>).<\/p>\n

We start a sightseeing tour of Bishkek, which includes:<\/p>\n

The Monument of Kyrgyz National hero Manas<\/strong>, Kurmanjan Datka<\/strong> Monument, Oak Park<\/strong>, Opera and Ballet Theatre<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

A sightseeing tour of Bishkek comes to an end at Victory Square<\/strong>. After excursion, we will go to ZUM<\/strong> (Central department store) to buy souvenirs.<\/p>\n

Day 2. <\/strong><\/span>Bishkek city \u2013 Chon Kemin Valley (170 km \/ 3 hours).<\/strong><\/h3>\n

After breakfast, we drive to Chon-Kemin valley.<\/p>\n

After excursion, drive to Chon Kemin valley. En route you will visit Architectural- Archeological Complex \u201cBurana Tower\u201d<\/strong> (UNESCO)<\/p>\n

Burana Tower (ancient minaret)\u00a0\u00a0 is located in 12 km far from Tokmok town. The territory where the tower is located was called Balasagyn town. This town had the strategic meaning for Great Silk Road. <\/em>Here you will see a small museum with exhibits found at excavations, providing more details about this ancient settlement, and become familiar with collection of Balbals, turkic grave marks.<\/em><\/p>\n

Optionally: horseback riding games near Burana Tower.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Upon arrival, get accommodated in the guest house \u201cAshuu\u201d.<\/p>\n

Options to do:<\/p>\n

1) Walking around the village.<\/p>\n

2) Renting horses and ride up to the closest mountains (extra cost).<\/p>\n

3) Horseback riding games nearby (extra cost).<\/p>\n

4) Setting up yurt (nomadic house) (extra cost).<\/p>\n

Day 3<\/span>.<\/strong> Chon-Kemin \u2013 Karakol (305 km\/ 6 hours)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>Today we take the direction to Karakol city via the north shore of beautiful Issyk Kul lake.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>Issyk Kul Lake<\/strong> has a tectonic origin. <\/em>It is a second largest alpine lake in the world after Titicaca located in South America. Its length reaches 182 km, and width is 58 km, maximum depth is up to 668 m. During the summer period the water reaches up to 20-25 Co<\/em><\/p>\n

On the way you admire beautiful landscape and changing of scenery.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>En route, visit the Nomad Museum and Open-air Petroglyphs<\/strong> Museum.<\/p>\n

The Nomad Museum<\/em> is a must-visit destination for anyone seeking to immerse themselves in the rich cultural heritage of Kyrgyzstan. From the Altai nomadic exhibition to the cultural and ethnographic event, this museum offers a captivating journey into the past. Don’t miss the chance to explore the architectural marvels and learn about the fascinating history of the region.<\/p>\n

Petroglyphs are dated back Sak-Usun period from 9-8 century up to 3-5 century AD.<\/em> The territory where Petroglyphs are found lying below the Kungey Alatoo Mountains with a beautiful view of the lake.<\/p>\n

Further drive to Karakol town.<\/p>\n

Afternoon short sightseeing in Karakol. Visit of Dungan mosque<\/strong> and Russian Orthodox church<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Karakol was founded in 1869 as a Russian garrison, and grew rapidly as explorers passed through the town on their way deeper into the Tian Shan.<\/em><\/p>\n

Day 4.<\/strong><\/span> Karakol \u2013 Djety Oguz gorge \u2013 Svetlaya Polyana – Kajy- Say (130 km\/ 2-3 hours)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Today you drive to Kochkor village. En route visit Djety Oguz gorge<\/strong> with \u201cSeven Bulls\u201d and \u201cBroken Heart\u201d mountain formations. This picturesque gorge is named so because of the red rocky sand formations covered with forests of Tien Shan spruces. After the walk, we take the direction to the village of Svetlaya Popyana for visit to a \u00abKomuz\u00bb maker.<\/p>\n

Komuz is an ancient Kyrgyz three-stringed instrument, resembling a small guitar. It is a significant part of any Kyrgyz folk music group. The instrument is usually fully made from apricot or juniper. <\/em><\/p>\n

The master will tell you and show you the process of making a musical instrument. We will also taste herbal tea with honey from our home apiary.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em>Further drive to Kajy-Say village to the yurt camp or guest house.<\/p>\n

Day 5.<\/strong> <\/span>Kajy-Say \u2013 Canyon Skazka \u2013 <\/strong>Son Kul lake (285 km\/5-6 hours)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>After breakfast visit Skazka Canyon<\/strong> which is one of the<\/p>\n

most stunning places in Kyrgyzstan, a canyon filled with fantastical sandstone shapes that give the spot its name, which means fairytale in Russian. Over millennia of erosion, the red sandstone has taken on forms that some say resemble animals, landmarks, or characters from legends.<\/p>\n

Then we drive back to Son Kul lake via Kalmak Ashuu pass (3447 m).<\/p>\n

Lunch in Kochkor village.<\/p>\n

Alpine Son Kul Lake is located on Tien Shan range at the elevation of 3016 m. The territory around Son Kul is a pasture for the cattle driven from Kochkor village, Naryn and Jumgal regions. During the summer Son Kul pasture is considered to be the best Kyrgyz jailoo. The road to the lake goes through the windy mountain passes and vanishes in the sky. As a result, Son Kul Lake from Kyrgyz language translates as \u201cLast Lake\u201d.<\/p>\n

Day 6.<\/strong><\/span> Son Kul lake – Naryn town (150 km \/2.5-3 \u00a0\u00a0hours)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Today we drive to the most mountainous province in Kyrgyzstan \u2013 Naryn province via the Moldo Ashuu pass (3200 m). Naryn is known for some of the best meat and traditional Kyrgyz dishes in the country.<\/p>\n

Overnight in the hotel.<\/p>\n

Day 7.<\/strong><\/span> Naryn \u2013 Kel Suu lake (150 km\/5-6 hours)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

After breakfast, start driving towards to the next treasure of Kyrgyzstan – Kel Suu lake.<\/p>\n

The distance is relatively short, but the conditions of the road delay the arrival.<\/p>\n

Arrival to Kel Suu in the late afternoon. The camp will be installed to your arrival, all infrustructure ready\/ pick up you r tent and get comfortable.<\/p>\n

Some free time in the evening to explore the area before dinner.<\/p>\n

Remote even by Kyrgyzstan standards, the magnificent Kel Suu lake stretches over 10 km through a sheer mountain gorge that reaches nearly to the Chinese border. Kel Suu means \u201cincoming water\u201d in Kyrgyz, and indeed, sometimes the lake disappears, flowing into underground caves and grottoes, so please be aware that not everybody has the chance to see the lake.<\/em><\/p>\n

Day 8.<\/strong><\/span> Kel Suu lake – Naryn town (on foot 8 km \/ 2-3 hours one way) (drive 150 km \/ 3,5 hours)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Today you explore the secret of Kyrgyzstan \u2013 Kel Suu. From the tents camp to the lake you can walk or drive up as it takes about 2-3 hours on foot. Level of difficulty only prescribed by the altitude (3200-3300 m asl), walking terrain is not challenging, but you need proper hiking boots. Spend time in the area, have lunch boxes on the shore and enjoy your time exploring this treasure.<\/p>\n

At the evening we load our stuff into the car and continue the way to Naryn town. Late evening arrival to Naryn and get accommodated at the hotel. Overnight.<\/p>\n

Day 9.<\/strong><\/span> Naryn town \u2013 Bishkek city (350 km \/ 5 hours)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

After breakfast explore the area. walk around to check the nature around Naryn town and drive back to Bishkek city.<\/p>\n

En route stop in Kochkor village and visit local women cooperation where ladies produce felt and different items from it.<\/p>\n

Optionally: watch felt producing demonstration<\/strong><\/p>\n

Arrival to Bishkek, check in into the hotel.<\/p>\n

Optionally:<\/u><\/strong> You can take a wander around Osh bazaar (closed on Monday)<\/em><\/p>\n

Farewell dinner at a local restaurant.<\/p>\n

Overnight at a hotel.<\/p>\n
