Morning sightseeing in Ashgabat: Nisa – <\/b>the residence of Parthian Kings (3rd century BC \u2013 3rd century AD)
\nAfternoon sightseeing: Arch of Neutrality, Presidential Square, Monument of Independence, New Grand Mosque in Kipchak.<\/b>
\nOvernight in Ashgabat.<\/p>\n

Day 3. <\/b><\/span>Ashgabat\u00a0 \u2013 Mary \u2013\u00a0 Ashgabat<\/b>.\u00a0(Km\/day – 370)\u00a0<\/b><\/h3>\n

Early Breakfast.
\nTransfer to the airport to catch the domestic flight to Mary (350 km east of Ashgabat). On arrival transfer to Old Merv (20 km).
\nSightseeing in Old Merv: Erkgala \u2013 an Achaemenid city (6th century BC) G\u00e4w\u00fcrgala fortress (3rd century BC), 38m-high mausoleum of Sultan Sanjar \u2013 the best remaining testimony of Seljuq power (12th century), Mohammed ibn Zeid Mausoleum (12th century), Large and Small Gyz Kala two fortresses-palaces of the 7th century, Yusuf Hamadani Mosque<\/b> constructed above the tomb of the 12th Century dervish \u2013 a pilgrimage site.
\nReturn flight to Ashgabat.<\/p>\n

Day 4.<\/span>\u00a0 <\/b><\/span>Ashgabat\u00a0 \u2013 Dashoguz \u2013 Khiva. \u00a0(Km\/day – 280)<\/b><\/h3>\n

Early Breakfast.
\nFlight to Dashoguz (650 km north of Ashgabat across the Karakum desert<\/b>).
\nOn arrival transfer to Kunye Urgench<\/b> (150 km north-west from Dashoguz).
\nSightseeing in Konye Urgench: Dash Kala Caravanserai (14th century); Sultan Tekesh Mausoleum (12th century); II-Arslan Mausoleum (12th century) \u2013 Konye-Urgench’s oldest standing monument; the 14th century minaret of Kutlug Timur the highest minaret in Central Asia (67 m); Turabek Khanum Mausoleum (mid 14th century)<\/b>
\nTransfer to the Uzbek border. Crossing into Uzbekistan and drive to Khiva.
\nAccommodation in a hotel. Rest.<\/p>\n

Morning sightseeing in Khiva: Visit to the oldest part of the city: Kunya-Ark fortress<\/b>, including Kurinish Khana (17th century); Mohammed-Amin-Khan Madrassah (19th century), Islam Khodja Minaret; Palvan-Kari complex, Abd Al Bobo complex (18th century), Rafanek Madrassah, Mohammed Rakim Khan (19th century), Amir-Tur Madrassah, Sho-I-Kalandar Bobo Mausoleum<\/b>.
\nAfternoon sightseeing in Khiva: Uch Avlioli (\u00abthree saints\u00bb) Mausoleum, Jami Mosque (18th century), Kutluq-Murad Inaq Madrassah (19th century), Pakhlavan Mahmoud Mausoleum, Tash Hauli Palace, Alla-Kuli-Khan (18th century), Arab Mohammed Khan (18th century) Madrassahs<\/b>.<\/p>\n

Day 6. <\/b><\/span>Khiva – Bukhara.\u00a0(Km\/day – 450)\u00a0<\/b><\/h3>\n

Transfer to Bukhara (450 km south-east of Khiva across the Kyzylkum desert).
\nOn arrival to Bukhara accommodation in the hotel.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

Day 7. <\/b><\/span>Bukhara. \u00a0(Km\/day -)\u00a0<\/b><\/h3>\n

Morning sightseeing in Bukhara: Ismael Samani mausoleum (9-10th centuries), Chashma-Ayub Mausoleums (14th century), Registan ensemble, Ark Fortress (16th century) and Bolo-Hauz complex (18th century)<\/b>.
\nAfternoon sightseeing: Poi-Kalon ensemble (including Minaret (12th century), Mosque (15th century), functioning Madrassah Miri-Arab (16th century), Amir-Alim-Khan Madrassah (14th century), Taqi (trading domes), Kukeldash Madrassah (16th century)<\/b>.<\/p>\n

Day 8. <\/b><\/span>Bukhara \u2013 Samarkand.\u00a0(Km\/day – 270)\u00a0<\/b><\/h3>\n

Transfer to Samarkand along the Royal Road.
\nOn arrival to Samarkand accommodation in the hotel. Free time.<\/p>\n

Day 9. <\/b><\/span>Samarkand.\u00a0(Km\/day -)\u00a0<\/b><\/h3>\n

Morning sightseeing: Registan Ensemble (including Ulugbek Madrassah (15th century), Shir Dor and Tillya-Kari Madrassahs (17th century),Bibi Khanum Mosque<\/b>.
\nVisit to the local bazaar.
\nAfternoon sightseeing: Ulugbek observatory (15th century)<\/b>.
\nVisit to Carpet manufacturing factory<\/b>.<\/p>\n

Day 10. <\/b><\/span>Samarkand sightseeing tour. Samarkand \u2013Tashkent<\/b>.\u00a0(Km\/day – 370)\u00a0<\/b> <\/b><\/u><\/h3>\n

<\/b><\/u>Morning sightseeing: Gur-e Amir Mausoleum\u00a0 (15th century), Shahi-Zinda necropolis\u00a0<\/b> (14-15th centuries).
\nTransfer to Tashkent (315 km north-east of Samarkand; the road runs through the rocky Pass of Jilanuti and then down to the valley between the Nurata and Turkestan hills, with cotton or wheat fields and gardens as main landscape.
\nOn arrival to Tashkent \u2013 accommodation in the hotel.<\/p>\n

Day 11. <\/b><\/span>Tashkent sightseeing tour. Tashkent \u2013 Bishkek flight. (Km\/day – 35)\u00a0<\/b><\/h3>\n

Morning sightseeing tour in Tashkent: Barak-Khan and Kaffal-Shashi mausoleums<\/b> (16th century), Friday Mosque, Kukeldash Madrassah<\/b> (16th century).
\nIn the afternoon: time at leisure.
\nAt the evening transfer to airport to take a flight to Bishkek.
\nUpon arrival in Bishkek airport transfer to the city and accommodation in hotel.<\/p>\n

Day 12. <\/b><\/span>Ala Archa National Park. Sightseeing tour in Bishkek. \u00a0(Km\/day –\u00a0 80)\u00a0<\/b><\/h3>\n

In the morning drive to Ala-Archa National Natural Park <\/b>located in a picturesque gorge of Ala Archa 40 km off from Bishkek.
\nIn the National Park you can easily hike along the main gorge of Ala Archa and back to enjoy views of magnificent peaks of Kyrgyz Alatau Ridge <\/b>(Tien Shan Mountains.
\nAfter lunch sightseeing tour in Bishkek. Visit central square Ala Too<\/b> to watch a ceremony of changing of the Guard of Honor<\/b>, and Manas Monument<\/b>, the main national hero of the Kyrgyz people.
\nIn the end of the tour visit Osh Bazaar<\/b>, the largest and busiest market in the city.
\nOvernight in hotel.<\/p>\n

Day 13. <\/b><\/span>Bishkek \u2013 Cholpon Ata town via Burana Tower.\u00a0 (Km\/day –\u00a0 280)\u00a0<\/b><\/h3>\n

In the morning one hour drive to Burana Tower<\/b>\u00a0 (old minaret) near Tokmok town. That minaret was constructed in Balasagun town<\/b>; one of the capitals of Karakhanid State<\/b> existed in 10-12 centuries AD. Explore ruins of that important trading point at the Great Silk Road<\/b> and visit a little local museum telling about that civilization. Also watch a collection of Balbals<\/b>, Turkic ancient tombs.
\nAfter excursion lunch in the family house in Tokmok, where tourist can closer learn about life of local people.
\nIn the afternoon three hours drive to the Issyk-Kul Lake<\/b>, the second largest alpine lake in the world.
\nUpon arrival to the lake area accommodation and dinner in a local hotel.<\/p>\n

Day 14. <\/b><\/span>Cholpon Ata \u2013 Karakol. (Km\/day – 120)\u00a0<\/b><\/h3>\n

In the morning visit\u00a0Cholpon-Ata Petroglyphssite<\/strong>\u00a0, the temple in the open air of Scythians and Hungsuns civilizations in 9-8 centuries BC till 3-4 centuries AD.
\nAfter excursion drive to\u00a0Karakol<\/strong>\u00a0town situated in the east of the lake area, at the foothill of the majestic Tian Shan mountains.
\nOn the way visit the museum of\u00a0N. M. Przhevalski,<\/strong>\u00a0an outstanding Russian explorer of the Asian continent.
\nLunch in a caf\u00e9 in Karakol.
\nSightseeing tour in the town. Visit\u00a0Dungan mosque<\/strong>, a unique construction in Chinese style, but serving as a mosque. Also you will see an old orthodox cathedral made of wood without any nails.
\nDinner in a restaurant with\u00a0Dungan cuisine<\/strong>.
\nOvernight in hotel in Karakol.<\/p>\n

Day 15.<\/span>\u00a0<\/b>Karakol \u2013 Kochkor – Bishkek.\u00a0(Km\/day –\u00a0 450)\u00a0<\/b><\/h3>\n

After breakfast transfer to Kochkor village<\/b> along the southern shore of the Issyk Kul Lake.
\nOn the way short hiking in Skazka<\/b> (Fairy Tale) Canyons.
\nPicnic lunch at one of the beaches of the Lake Issyk Kul.
\nIn the afternoon you will arrive to Kochkor village where you will watch how local people make felt<\/strong>, various carpets and other handicraft stuff.
\nAfter visiting handicraft center you continue your way to Bishkek.
\nOvernight in hotel in Bishkek.<\/p>\n

Day 16. <\/b><\/span>Departure from Bishkek.\u00a0(Km\/day –\u00a0 30)\u00a0<\/b><\/h3>\n
