Day 1 Arrival to Bishkek (30 km /40 min)
Upon arrival at the international airport “Manas” you will be met by our guide & driver.

Day 2 Bishkek – Burana Tower – Cholpon Ata town, Issyk Kul lake (250 km/ 4-5 hours)
After breakfast we start the tour. Visit Architectural- Archeological Complex “Burana Tower” (UNESCO)
Burana Tower (ancient minaret) is located in 12 km far from Tokmok town, before Tower can be lunch with local family. The territory where the tower is located was called Balasagyn town. This town had the strategic meaning for Great Silk Road. Here you will see a small museum with exhibits found at excavations, providing more details about this ancient settlement, and become familiar with collection of Balbals, turkic grave marks.
Than drive to Cholpon Ata town. Cholpon-Ata is resort town in the Issyk Kul region, located 265 km from Bishkek. Issyk-Kul lake is the second largest alpine lake in the world after Titicaca in South America and surrounded with mountain ranges from both sides. Issyk-Kul is a special place famous for its warm, sandy beaches, thermal mineral radon springs (can be visited at extra cost), alpine meadows, coniferous forests of the park type.

Day 3 Cholpon Ata – Grigoriev gorge – Cholpon-Ata (40 km/ 1-1.5 hours one way)
After breakfast transfer to picturesque Grigoriev gorge. It is one of the most famous and beautiful sights of Issyk Kul Lake. This place is located 60 km from the town of Cholpon Ata.
Enjoying the beauty of the mountain slopes, covered with red poppy and sound of mountain water, here you can also see beautiful Tien-Shan spruce.
Green mountain slopes covered with beautiful poppies, mountain river with crystal clear water, picturesque mountain landscapes, all this certainly will leave you the most unforgettable impression.

Chunkurchak gorge is one of the smallest, but at the same time the most beautiful gorges in Kyrgyzstan. It is located 40 kilometers from the city of Bishkek. There is Supara ethno-complex, mountain resort with extra activities such as horse riding and archery are available at extra cost.

After breakfast transfer to picturesque Kegety gorge. The Kegety (Kegeti) Gorge is one of the most beautiful in Kyrgyzstan. It is located 50 kilometers from Bishkek on the northern slope of the Kyrgyz ridge. Kegety differs from the rest of the gorges by its large width and spaciousness. The length of the gorge is about 27 kilometers. There are many trees, both coniferous and fruit. Kegety is the most wooded gorge of the Chui Valley. The gorge is also famous for its alpine meadows, medicinal plants and berries. Kegety is home to dozens of species of animals and birds.
There nice hiking opportunity to the closest waterfall or just relaxing walk along the canyon without significant elevation.
After excursion drive back to Bishkek, en route stop at Hawaii restaurant where you can feed fishes and swans, and visit the zoo with different animals and offers walking paths with various statues.

The Burana Tower is located within a large archaeological and architectural complex near Tokmok, 80 km to the east of Bishkek. The unique minaret was built in the 11th century in the medieval town Balasagun, the capital of mighty Karakhanid Empire. Once near the tower stood a mosque and a minaret which was used to call people to pray. The height of the tower is about 25 m, while in the Middle Ages, it was more than 40 m. It is assumed that a part of the tower was destroyed by an earthquake in the 15th century. You can climb the stairs to the top of Burana, where you’ll be able to enjoy wonderful view of the surrounding valley.
Kegety Gorge is located on the northern side of the Kyrgyz ridge, 70 kilometers from Bishkek and 20 kilometers from Tokmok. It differs from other gorges on the Kyrgyz ridge because of its unusual width and spaciousness. Being one of the longest gorges on the Kyrgyz ridge (≈27 km), Kegety has a very interesting relief and a lot of beautiful places: for instance, Kel-Tor Lake in the right tributary of the Kegety River, two waterfalls, a forest of the Tien-Shan spruce and the Kegety Pass (≈ 4000m).

After breakfast drive to Bokonbaevo village, where clean mountain air, lush meadows, majestic mountain ranges will attract every lover of eco-tourism. In Kadzhi Sai village visit a Skazka (fairy tale) Canyon. Skazka Canyon is an area with many geological features, crazy rock formations and variety of bizarre figures of stone and clay. It is composed of multi-colored clays, minerals and rocks, that add to the scenic beauty of this place.
Some of the natural sculptures in the canyon have names. The most recognizable is the “Chinese Wall”, very reminiscent of the famous architectural monument of China. Walking around is magical. Further drive to yurt camp.
Dinner and overnight in authentic yurt camp.

Day 3. Bokonbaevo – Karakol (150 km, 3-4 hours)
Breakfast at the yurt camp. Near Bokonbaev village possible to meet a hunter and his bird and see scene of eagle hunting demonstartion either on rabbit or on fox skin (for extra cost).
After the demonstration you will have a chance to ask the hunter about tradition of eagle hunting and his bird features. You can take a closer look at the bird and hold it in your hands.
Proceed to Karakol. Upon arrival hotel check-in and rest.
Overnight in guest house “Karagat” / “Green Yard” or similar.
Day 4. Karakol city tour and Djety-Oguz gorge
After breakfast explore Karakol, visit its popular places as old Dungan Mosque and Holy Trinity Orthodox Cathedral.
After city tour visit picteresque Djety-Oguz gorge.
Dzhety Oguz in Kyrgyz means “Seven Bulls”. This picturesque gorge is named so because of the red rocky sand formations covered with forests of Tien Shan spruces. Dzhety Oguz is also famous for its resort located at the altitude of 2200 m, where hot springs with water enriched with radon and hydrogen sulfide hit out of the ground.

Day 5. Karakol – Cholpon-Ata (160 km, 2-2.5 hours)
Today proceed by the northern shoe of Issyk-Kul lake to Cholpon-Ata town which is famous and one of the largest resort cities located in Issyk-Kul region. A large number of sanatoriums and resorts, modern hotels cottages and rent houses are functioning there. Possible to visit hot springs and enjoy there time (for extra cost).
Afetr visit cultural center Rukh-Ordo. Overnight in hotel “Karven Four Seasons” or similar.
Day 6. Cholpon-Ata – Bishkek (260 km, 4.5-5 hours)
Breakfast at hotel. En route stop at Burana Tower. Excursion in the Historical Complex “Burana Tower”. Visit the ruins of the medieval city Balasagyn with its famous Burana Tower (IX – XII AC). Once it was one of 3 capitals of Karakhanid Empire and one of the most developed cities during the golden ages of the Great Silk Road.

You can go for a walk on the paved road along the river or hike up to the mountains to get a spectacular view of the gorge.

Burana Tower (ancient minaret) is located in 12 km far from Tokmok town. The territory where the tower is located was called Balasagyn town. This town had the strategic meaning for Great Silk Road. Here you will see a small museum with exhibits found at excavations, providing more details about this ancient settlement, and become familiar with collection of Balbals, turkic grave marks.
Optionally (for extra cost): horseback riding games / yurt setting up show / lunch in local family house in Tokmok.
After all activities transfer back to Bishkek.

Our next stop will be the Chunkurchak Ski Base. On the territory of GB Chunkurchak there are, a cable car (at extra cost).
