During this tour you will see Son Kul Lake and go through the mountain valleys. You will remember this trip for a long time and will desire to come back here very soon.

Meeting point: Main door of the State Historical Museum, Ala Too Square, 8 am

Itinerary: Bishkek – Son Kul – Kyzyl Oi village - Bishkek

Day 1:

9:00 – 10:00 Drive from Bishkek to Burana tower

10:00 – 11:30 Burana Musem Complex visit

11:30 – 14:30 Drive to Kochkor

14:30 – 16:00 Lunch and visiting souvenirs shop

16:00 – 19:00 Drive to Song Kul lake

19:00 – 20:00 Accommodation  and dinner in a yurt camp

Day 2 (1st option):

8:00 – 9:00 Breakfast

9:30 – 17:30 Transfer to Kyzyl Oi with lunch (lunchbox) en route

17:30 – 19:00 Accommodation and rest  in a local family

19:00 – 20:00 Dinner in a local family

Day 2 (2nd option):

8:00 – 9:00 Breakfast

9:00 – 14:00 Drive to Kyzyl Oi

14:00-15:00 Lunch in a local family (Kyzart village)

15:00-18:00 Drive to Kyzyl Oi

18:00 – 19:00 Accommodation in a local family

19:00 – 20:00 Dinner in a local family’s house

Day 3:

9:00 – 10:00 Breakfast in a local family’s house

10:00 – 15:00 Transfer to Bishkek

Itinerary

Day 1. Bishkek city – Son Kul Lake (420 km / 7 hours)

We will meet with you at 08.00 in the morning in agreed beforehand place and go for an exciting tour to Lake Song Kul. The first stop will be in Tokmok city (an hour drive from Bishkek), there we will visit the historical and archaeological complex „Burana Tower“. The tour will last about one hour; you will be able to learn many interesting facts about the early middle ages of territory where now is Kyrgyzstan.

After that, we drive to Kochkor village, where we will have lunch in a local family (included in the price).

There, you can visit the women’s cooperative, where you can buy various souvenirs out of felt –

from very small things to carpets and hats.

In the afternoon, we continue our journey to Son Kul Lake. Remaining travel time: 3 hours.

Arrival at yurt camp at lake by the evening, accommodation in yurt camp. The rest of the day can spend for a walk or rest. Dinner and overnight in the yurt camp (dinner is included in the price).

Day 2. Son Kul Lake – Kyzyl Oi village

Breakfast in the yurt camp at 8 am. Start to drive to Kyzyl Oi village at 9 am.

Depending on the weather and road conditions there are 2 ways to reach Kyzyl Oi village:

 1) Drive via Kara Keche pass (short way – 200 km / 5 hours). Driving with a number of stops on the way to take pictures of the beautiful nature and one of the biggest coal mining of Kyrgyzstan – Kara Keche. Lunch boxes included.

Evening arrival to Kyzyl Oi village and accommodation in a local family house. Free time to walk around the village to see local lifestyle. Dinner is included. Overnight.

2) Drive via Kalmak Ashuu pass and Kochkor village (long way – 320 km / 7-8 hours).

Lunch in Kyzart village in a local family (included in the price).

Arrival in Kyzyl Oi late in the evening. Accommodation in the house of a local family.

Dinner and overnight (dinner is included).

Day 3. Kyzyl Oi village – Bishkek city (200 km / 6 hours)

Breakfast in the local family at 9 am. Start driving to Bishkek at 10 am. The way goes to Suusamyr valley, up to Tu Ashuu Pass, through the 3 km tunnel and down to the Chui valley.

Arrival to Bishkek around 1-2 pm. Lunch and dinner are not included as we reach Bishkek at the noon time.

Drive to the address that we agreed beforehand.

Useful things to take with you:

1. Hat (very active sun on the high altitude).
2. Personal first aid kit.
3. Small walking sticks for Son Kul hiking.
4. A flask for water.
5. Sunglasses.
6. Photo camera.
7. A smaller backpack.
8. Sun-screen cream (30 or higher).

 Necessary things to take with you:

1. Warm clothes (as Son Kul is a cold place all year around).
