Golden springs of Tien Shan

Description

This is a fascinating trip to the hot springs of called (Lastochkino gnezdo, from Russian translated like Swallow’s Nest) and relax on the fresh air in the flowery gorge Ak –Suu.

During this tour you will enjoy the incredible beauty of Altyn Arashan gorge. You will swim and relax in the local hot springs.

Itinerary

Day 1. Karakol town – Altyn Arashan Valley (30 km / 2 hours).

At 09:00 Old Russian military car pick up from the place we agree beforehand in Karakol town (it can be a hotel, café, guest house, etc.) and drive to Altyn Arashan valley. The road conditions are tough that stretched driving time significantly. Upon arrival in the valley we can take a hot spring bath (self-pay) (apprx. 30 min). Lunch included.

Walking about 2-3 hrs in the area, visit so called Seagull’s nest that situated by the river.

Walking to the tent camp, accommodation, dinner (included) and overnight.

Day 2. Altyn Arashan Valley – Karakol (30 km / 2 hours).

Breakfast at 09:00. At 10:00 start to descent along the Altyn-Arashan gorge through the Ortok pass (2100m) to the resort of Ak-Suu canyon (4-5 hrs.) Lunch boxes are included.

An Old Russian military car will wait for you at 4pm at Ak Suu gorge. Transfer to Karakol town. Dinner is not included.
