Itinerary:  Bishkek city – Issyk Kul, Cholpon Ata town – Grigoriev gorge – Bishkek – Chunkurchak gorge – Osh Bazaar

Itinerary

Day 1  Arrival to Bishkek (30 km /40 min)

 Upon arrival at the international airport “Manas”  you will be met by our guide & driver.

Transfer to hotel in Bishkek, hotel early check-in after 06:00 AM. After breakfast and rest we have city tour to know more about Kyrgyzstan, visitting Ala Too Square, Kurmanzhan Datka, Manas and Lenin Monuments, main governmental buildings, Old Square with Parliament House etc.

Day 2  Bishkek – Burana Tower – Cholpon Ata town, Issyk Kul lake (250 km/ 4-5 hours)

 After breakfast we start the tour. Visit Architectural- Archeological Complex “Burana Tower” (UNESCO)

Burana Tower (ancient minaret)   is located in 12 km far from Tokmok town, before Tower can be lunch with local family. The territory where the tower is located was called Balasagyn town. This town had the strategic meaning for Great Silk Road. Here you will see a small museum with exhibits found at excavations, providing more details about this ancient settlement, and become familiar with collection of Balbals, turkic grave marks.

Than drive to Cholpon Ata town. Cholpon-Ata is resort town in the Issyk Kul region, located 265 km from Bishkek. Issyk-Kul lake is the second largest alpine lake in the world after Titicaca in South America and surrounded with mountain ranges from both sides. Issyk-Kul is a special place famous for its warm, sandy beaches, thermal mineral radon springs (can be visited at extra cost), alpine meadows, coniferous forests of the park type.

Day 3  Cholpon Ata – Grigoriev gorge –  Cholpon-Ata  (40 km/ 1-1.5 hours one way) 

After breakfast transfer to picturesque Grigoriev gorge. It is one of the most famous and beautiful sights of Issyk Kul Lake. This place is located 60 km from the town of Cholpon Ata.

Enjoying the beauty of the mountain slopes, covered with red poppy and sound of mountain water, here you can also see beautiful Tien-Shan spruce.

Green mountain slopes covered with beautiful poppies, mountain river with crystal clear water, picturesque mountain landscapes, all this certainly will leave you the most unforgettable impression.

Day 4  Cholpon Ata – Bishkek. (260 km, 4-5 hrs)

After restful morning, breakfast we drive to Bishkek. Arrival to the city, hotel check-in after 14:00 pm and you have free time to rest.

Day 5  Bishkek – Chunkurchak gorge – Bishkek (40 km/ 1,5 hours one way)

 After breakfast we drive to Chunkurchak gorge.

Chunkurchak gorge is one of the smallest, but at the same time the most beautiful gorges in Kyrgyzstan. It is located 40 kilometers from the city of Bishkek. There is Supara ethno-complex, mountain resort with extra activities such as horse riding and archery are available at extra cost.

Drive back to Bishkek.

Day 6  Shopping day, Osh Bazaar (100 km/2,5-3 hours)

Today is the day to explore shopping side of Bishkek.

We will visit shopping malls and Osh Bazaar. Osh Bazar, Osh market is the most popular site to visit in Bishkek, which located in center of Bishkek.  The Bazar (or bazaar) is an original and authentic phenomenon for the Central Asian region. The bazar is not only a place of sale. This is a place for socialization and organization of local residents.

Day 7  Bishkek – airport (30 km/ 40 min)

Breakfast or breakfast box. Hotel check-out (12:00 PM).

Transfer to the airport.

Today in Bishkek your trip concludes.
