However, for the period of quarantine restrictions in Kazakhstan, there are special requirements for the procedure for foreign citizens to cross the state border. It is required to obtain a special entry permit, which is issued by the Interdepartmental Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In the absence of such permission, the visitor may be denied to enter into the country.
But this permission is not required to be obtained for all countries. The permission of the Interdepartmental Commission is not required for citizens of those countries with which Kazakhstan has resumed direct regular flights, namely: Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Hungary, Vietnam, Germany, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Kuwait, Netherlands, UAE, Poland, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Tajikistan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, South Korea.
If tourists cross the border of the Republic of Kazakhstan by land, then an additional permission of the Interdepartmental Commission is required for all countries without exception. The necessary document is drawn up by the inviting party, which undertakes to:
– follow the sanitary and quarantine requirements of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
– all expenses in case of deportation (ex. due to the violation of sanitary and quarantine standards).
Today, the general situation in Kazakhstan is stable. We believe that the tourism sector will finally come back with the new visa regulation. Railway and avia traffic has been fully restored. Entry into the country is carried out only with a PCR test certificate (valid for 72 hours), regardless of the presence of a vaccination certificate.
At the same time, we kindly ask you to be up-to-date on the requirements at the Embassy of Kazakhstan in your country. And we will keep you updated too.
Sincerely,
Team Ak-Sai Travel
