Itinerary

Day 1 Bishkek- Issyk-Kul lake

Upon arrival at the international airport “Manas” you will be met by our guide-driver. Have a breakfast at local café. Direct transfer to the northern shore of Issyk-Kul lake vis Boom gorge. Proceed to the second largest mountain lake in the world – Issyk-Kul lake via Boom pass. Upon arrival to Issyk-Kul lake, hotel check-in (standart time after 2:00 pm). Free time to enjoy time at the shore of the lake.
Optionally visit Ruh-Ordo complex (at extra cost).
Overnight in the resort.

Day 2 Full day in Issyk-Kul lake

After breakfast proceed to Grigorevskoe gorge, where you can take at pleasure nature and wonderful mountain sceneries.
Afternoon optionally boat cruise: boat cruise at Issyk Kul Lake (duration: 1 hour, *at extra cost).
Overnight in the resort.

Day 3 Cholpon-Ata – Bishkek

After return back to Bishkek. En route visit Burana Tower (75 km).
After arrival hotel check-in after 2:00 pm. After some rest start city tour. Visit:
1) The Monument of Kyrgyz National hero Manas;
2) Kurmanjan Datka and Lenin monuments;
3) Ala Too main and old square;
4) Victory Square devoted to the WWII.
5) State Philharmonic Square and building.
Overnight in the hotel.

Day 4 Bishkek – Ala-Archa NP-Bishkek, shopping

After breakfast have half-day tour to picteresque Ala-Archa National Park. Enjoy time there by hiking and sitting near the river with fresh air.
After return back to the city, visit Colorful Osh market with lines of fruits, vegetables, sweets and salads.
Evening free time to visit shopping mall.
Lunch and dinner can be arranged on spot.
Overnight in hotel.

Day 5 Departure

After breakfast transfer to Manas International airport.

Additional Info

Clothes and equipment:

You can take all necessary things. Please take into consideration that in summer time the temperature in Bishkek city reaches up to 40 oC and in the mountains the temperature decreases to 10 oC. Be prepared for unexpected changes of the weather.

Recommended:

• Rain-coat
• Sweater/fleece
• Wind-stopper
• Enough t-shirts and other underwear (think of taking smth with long sleeves to avoid sunburns)
• Hat (remember – the sun can be violent)
• Sun-screen cream (30 or higher)
• Insect repellent (skin + clothes)
• Walking shoes (don’t need heavy ones) for the city walks
• Personal first aid kit (most likely problems: blisters, sunburns, allergy, diarrhea, sore muscles after hikes. Take painkillers, anti-histaminic, antibiotics of general action, and anything you need for your usual medical conditions).
• Personal hygiene kit (disinfection gel is highly recommended) + some toilet paper.
• Sunglasses
• Photo camera
• Notepad and a pen to make notes as you travel
• A smaller backpack, except for your normal suitcase

Money exchange - if you plan to exchange dollars /euro/ to KGS, we recommend to take the notes of 50, 100 USD/EURO without stamps, inscriptions and other any damage, because damaged banknotes are not accepted by banks and exchange offices.
