Revolution in skyrunning: Lenin Race Winners 2014

Vitaly Shkel had made a revolution in skyrunning with his speed record on the Lenin Peak – 5h06′! Vitaly had improved the previous record by Semen Dvornichenko on 2h 5 min. Semen himself had ran in 5h 56 min. 

Lenin Race is a very specific event for high skyrunning. It’s not in the mentality of Europeans to run this kind of attitude. The athletes are getting stronger and stronger, and most of them are looking for bigger challenges!
