Description
Korona – is a very popular peak and one of the most picturesque tops of the Kyrgyz Ala Too mountain range.
It consists of six rocky towers that look like a crown of medieval king and all this unique view opens for tourists in Ala Archa gorge.
The height of Korona peak is four thousand eight hundred and sixty meters. This peak draws interest for mountaineers from all over the world.
The best season for the peak ascension are: May – August. To ascent the peak of the same grade as Korona, it is important to have a good physical skills and well organized ascension. To pass through the technical areas special equipment and preparation are needed, the same time the weather and logistics are still very important. Nevertheless, it is possible to ascent Korona peak during one or two days.
