Snowmobile riding in Karkara valley

This is a fascinating three days tour where you enjoy the beauty of Karkara valley and will have a great opportunity for hiking and  snowmobile riding.

Enjoy the beauty of virgin nature of Kyrgyzstan. Relax in a peaceful atmosphere of mountains and rivers. During this tour you will have a chance to visit an incredible Karkara valley which is located 2200 m ASL in a border zone of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.

Meeting point: Main door of the State Historical Museum, Ala Too Square, 9 am.

Day 1:

9:00 – 10:00 Drive from Bishkek to Burana tower

10:00 – 11:30 Excursion in Burana tower

12:00 – 13:00 Lunch in a local family

13:30 – 19:00 Drive to Karkara base camp

19:00 – 20:00 Accommodation and dinner in a base camp

Day 2:

9:00 – 10:00 Breakfast

10:00 – 13:00 Hiking to the foot of Tien Shan Mountains

13:00 – 14:00 Lunch in base camp

14:00 – 17:00 Snowmobile riding with a driver

19:00 – 20:00 Dinner in a base camp

Day 3:

8:00 – 9:00 Breakfast

9:00 – 12:00 Transfer to Karakol town

12:00 – 13:00 Lunch in a café

13:00 – 15:30 Drive to Cholpon Ata town

14:00 – 15:00 Excursion in Petroglyphs museum

15:00 – 19:00 Drive to Bishkek

Itinerary

Tour Program:

Day 1. Bishkek city – Karkara base camp (500 km / 7-8 hours)

We pick you up from the place we agreed beforehand in Bishkek city at 9:00 am.

Today we head to Issyk Kul Lake. First of all we take one hour drive to Tokmok town to visit Burana Tower, historical complex for excursion, which lasts 1 hour.

After excursion we drive 15 minutes more to reach lunch place in a local family of Tokmok town (included).

Upon arrival in Karakol, all-terrain vehicle will be waiting for us and we drive to the base camp “Karkara”

Pass border control before reach the camp.

Accommodation and dinner in a base camp.

Overnight in a base camp.

Day 2. Full day in Karkara base camp

Breakfast at 9 am.

After breakfast we take some time for hiking

Lunch is included.

Afternoon free time for snowmobiling (with driver). This place is a paradise where you enjoy the nature and peace.

Dinner is included. Overnight in a base camp.

Day 3. Karkara base camp – Bishkek city (470 km / 7-8 hours)

Breakfast at 8 am.  At 9 am after breakfast we drive to Karakol. There a car will be waiting for us on which we will return to Bishkek.
Lunch in a local café (not included).
On the way back we visit Petroglyphs site in Cholpon Ata town.
Around 2 pm we leave Cholpon Ata for Bishkek and arrive at the capital in evening (approximately 7 pm). You will be taken by your guide and driver to the address that we agreed beforehand. Dinner is not included.

Transport: Tourist vehicle depending on group size

7. Sun-screen cream (SPF 30 or higher)
8. Skis
9. Good trekking boots for easy hikes in the mountains.

1. Warm clothes (Karkara is a place at high altitude).
