Jeep tour for all seasons in Kyrgyzstan

Itinerary: Bishkek – Ala-Archa National Park – Chunkurchak gorge – Suusamyr valley – Kochkor – Bishkek

Itinerary

Day 1. Arrival in Kyrgyzstan. Bishkek city – Ala-Archa National Park – Chon Kurchak gorge – Bishkek city. (150 km / 3 hours)

Upon arrival at the International airport in Bishkek, transfer to the city, early check-in to the hotel. In the morning, after breakfast you get the vehicles and we arrange all necessary papers.

We will go through the procedure of delivery-acceptance of the jeeps. It takes about 1 hour.

PLEASE NOTE: 500 USD Deposit must be paid upon the transfer of the vehicle to the participants and examination of it by them.  The deposit is paid back in full to the clients if no damage to the vehicle is done

Then we will have one hour drive to Ala Archa Natural park located in a picturesque gorge of Ala Archa 40 km off from Bishkek. It is a popular place for hiking, skiing and mountaineering including trips to more than 20 glaciers. Later we visit Ata Beyit cemetery in Koi Tash gorge.

The Ata Beyit memorial is situated in Koi Tash gorge and commemorates the 137 members of the Kyrgyz Central Committee that fell victims of the Stalinist purges of 1937.

After that we drive to Chon Kurchak gorge. It is located in 30 km south from Bishkek, in this interesting place there is an unusually beautiful waterfall called “Dove waterfall”. It is the same beauty in winter and in summer.

Return to Bishkek. Dinner in cafe. Overnight in hotel.

Day 2. Bishkek city – Suusamyr valley / Kyzyl Oi village. (170 km/ 4 hours) / (190 km / 4-5 hours)

After breakfast we start our drive into country, we go to Suusamyr valley. Our way to this picturesque valley of Kyrgyzstan goes via amazingly beautiful canyons and gorges of Central Tien Shan Mountains over especially dramatic and beautiful Too Ashuu Pass (3586 m) from which you may observe both vast valleys Chui and Suusamyr.

Day 3. Kyzyl Oi village / Suusamyr valley – Kochkor village. (165 km / 3-4 hours) / (205 km/ 4 hours)

Today, after breakfast, we leave Suusamyr valley for Kochkor village. We will drive through abundant pasturelands of Suusamyr Valley dotted with numerous yurts of the local nomads. Later along Kekemeren River.

The Kekemeren River runs through a narrow valley South from Suusamyr plain, past the village of Aral (in Naryn region – 1400 m. a. s. l.), until eventually it flows into the Naryn River. Popular for white-water rafting, at first the river is relatively calm, but gradually, more and more obstacles appear making it a much more demanding course.

 Kochkor village where local people make felt, various carpets, embroidering and spinning, and other handicraft stuff. We also visit a handicraft museum and a shop, where you can buy different masterpieces – starting from huge felt-silk blankets, finishing with small Christmas tree decorations.

 Upon arrival at Kochkor village, you will be accommodated and dinner in the houses of local families.

Day 4. Kochkor village – Bishkek city (230 km / 4 hours)

In the morning we start our way back to Bishkek city.

On the way we stop at Burana Tower (old minaret) near Tokmok city. That minaret was constructed in Balasagun town; one of the capitals of Karakhanid State existed in 12 centuries AD. Explore ruins of that important trading point at the Great Silk Road and visit a little local museum telling about that civilization. Also watch a collection of Balbals, Turkic ancient tombs.

Our way to Bishkek city will run through the picturesque Boom gorge.

When we are coming back to Bishkek, we will make a stop for car washing. Upon return to Bishkek, cars are returned back to Ak-Sai Travel. Employees of Ak-Sai Travel will check the cars. The deposit is paid back in full to the clients if no damage to the vehicle is done.

Upon arrival, we will have Bishkek sightseeing tour. It is a walking tour around Ala Too Square, main governmental buildings, and finish at the Old Square with Parliament House and the only survived in Central Asia Lenin’s Monument.

Dinner in cafe. Overnight in hotel.

Day 5. Bishkek city – airport (30 km / 30-40 min)

In the morning transfer to the airport. Flight back home.

Notes

There may be changes in the route due to weather, instructions of the local authorities, road conditions or the decision of the guide in the field for the benefit of the travelers and the conduct of the trip.

Vehicle renting regulations:

500 USD Deposit must be paid upon the transfer of the vehicle to the participants and examination of it by them.

On the way back there will be a stop for car wash.

The Lessee shall return the vehicle in full complete stated in the Delivery-Acceptance report.

The Lessee shall return the vehicle with the same quantity of fuel as at the moment of receipt.

The deposit is paid back in full if no damage to the vehicle is done.

Responsibilities of clients

Clients should recognize and accept the risk that circumstances may arise which would cause some activities to be shortened or eliminated altogether without reimbursement or refund. Such circumstance includes weather conditions, earthquakes and other acts of nature, injuries or other medical problems, which they may experience. Each tourist should have medical insurance that should be organized him/herself in homecountry.

Cancellation Policy

0% - (No Cancellation Fee) if cancelled at least 30 days before the arrival date.

30% - Cancellation Fee, if cancelled 25 days before the arrival date.

75 % - Cancellation Fee, if cancelled 7 days before the arrival date.

100% - Cancellation Fee, if cancelled less than 7 days before the arrival date
