Two days tour to the spectacular Suusamyr valley and Chychkan canyon. 2 days of travel, enjoyment and serenity.

Get out of the big city to relax on the bank of the river and breath with fresh clean air.

Itinerary

Day 1. Bishkek city – Suusamyr valley – Chychkan canyon.

In the morning meeting at the hotel and transfer to Suusamyr valley and further to Chychkan canyon. This is a very interesting day that includes spectacular drive and relaxing atmosphere.
Firstly, we head along the villages of Chui province, then turn to the mountains and drive up to the Too Ashuu pass, where cross the tunnel of 3 km to reach the other side and see Suusamyr valley from the top.

Descend down from the pass and drive along the Suusamyr valley till the area close to the river.
Stop there for lunch and have picnic in the shade of tent in the relaxing atmosphere.
After some time in Suusamyr drive further over Ala Bel pass down to Chychkan canyon.
Arrival to the unique Oson Motel built by the big river Chychkan.
Free time at the area, relax and dinner. Opportunity to sit by the river and admire beautiful nature and listen the sound of water stream.

Day 2. Chychkan canyon – Bishkek city.

Morning some time at the area. Walk up along the neighbor canyon, enjoy the nature.
Lunch in Oson and transfer back to Bishkek via Suusamyr valley and Too Ashuu pass.
Evening arrival back to Bishkek city. Transfer to the hotel/spot agreed beforehand.

Clothes and equipment:

You can take all necessary things. Please take into consideration that in summer time the temperature in Bishkek city reaches up to 40 oC and in the mountains the temperature decreases to 10 oC. Be prepared for unexpected changes of the weather.

Recommended:

• Rain-coat
• Sweater/fleece
• Wind-stopper
• Enough t-shirts and other underwear (think of taking smth with long sleeves to avoid sunburns)
• Hat (remember – the sun can be violent)
• Sun-screen cream (30 or higher)
• Insect repellent (skin + clothes)
• Walking shoes (don’t need heavy ones) for the city walks
• Personal first aid kit (most likely problems: blisters, sunburns, allergy, diarrhea, sore muscles after hikes. Take painkillers, anti-histaminic, antibiotics of general action, and anything you need for your usual medical conditions).
• Personal hygiene kit (disinfection gel is highly recommended) + some toilet paper.
• Sunglasses
• Photo camera
• Notepad and a pen to make notes as you travel
• A smaller backpack, except for your normal suitcase

Money exchange - if you plan to exchange dollars /euro/ to KGS, we recommend to take the notes of 50, 100 USD/EURO without stamps, inscriptions and other any damage, because damaged banknotes are not accepted by banks and exchange offices.
