This tour is a good choice for trekkers with moderate hiking experience at the altitudes above 4000 m, and with good physical condition and health. These are new directions of the company, in which there are no permanent tent camps with the usual comfort for our clients, but our teams will try to make the stay enjoyable in portable camps

If you use our service, you can save money, as:

There is no need for you to bring (or rent) lots of things – like tent, dishes, frying pans, etc;

Itinerary

Day 1. Airport – Bishkek city – Karkara Base camp

Auto: 480 km. / 8 hrs. / + 1200 m.

Upon arrival to the international airport “Manas” meet local guide and driver, transfer to Bishkek city. Upon arrival accommodation at the hotel (early check-in is included). After rest and breakfast we start drive to Karkara valley. The road is going through Boom gorge and further along the north shore of Issyk-Kul lake. Lunch en route at a local cafe. The drive from lunch place will take us about 4 hours. The road passes through Tup village, then continues East towards checkpoint Karkara. Dinner and overnight in tents 2200 m. a.s.l.

Day 2. Karkara Base camp- Chon-Jenalach valley

Trek 15 km / 6 h / +540 m

After breakfast we will have a short transfer (10 km) up the gorge and then we will begin trekking along the river Chon-Jenalach to our first trekking camp

Dinner and overnight in tents (2780 m. a.s.l.)

Day 3. Chon-Jenalach valley – Echkilitash pass – Sary-Jaz River

Trek 18 km / 7 h / +943 m / – 773 m

We continue our trekking and today we are expected to climb the Echkilitash pass 3723 m and descend into the valley of the Sary-Jaz river. Tent camp near a military border point.

Dinner and overnight in tents (2950 m. a.s.l.)

Day 4. Sary-Jaz River – Tyz river

Trek: 20 km. / 7 h. / +450 m

After breakfast we will cross the Sary-Jaz river along a hanging bridge and make a long trek to the Tyuz river camp along but a good trail without ascents

Overnight in tents (3400 m. a.s.l.).

Day 5. Tyz river – Tyz pass – Inylchek valley

Trek: 18 km. / 7 h. / +601 m / -1121 m

Ascent and than crossing Tyz pass 4001 m. The way goes by stone slops, then descent by soft slops into Inylchek valley. From pass you can see Nansen peak (5697 м) on opposite slope of valley and Inylchek glacier. Steep descent into the valley and tent camp near the big stone Chon-Tash.

Overnight in tents (2880 m. a.s.l.).

Day 6. Inylchek glacier – Inylchek valley

Trek: 7 km / 4 h. / +50 m / -50 m

Hike up to Inylcheck glacier 1 hours and will see how a big river is born from under the ice. Then we cross the glacier and descent to the tent camp under slops of Nansen peak.

Overnight in tents (3000 m. a.s.l.).

Day 7. Inylchek valley – At Jailoo river

After breakfast we have an easy trek down the picturesque, wide Inylchek gorge, and after lunch we cross the river At Jailoo and go down to the place where we see our car

Overnight in tents (2800 m. a.s.l.).

Day 8. At Jailoo river – Karakol town

Auto: 170 km. / 7 h. / +700 m / -1800 m

Breakfast at the tent camp, pack it and departure. On the way we will visit a number of interesting gorges and places, cross the Chon-Ashu pass (3500 m) and descend into the Issyk-Kul valley and Karakol town

Overnight in hotel (1800 m. a.s.l.)

Day 9. Karakol – Bishkek city.

After breakfast we start drive to the city of Bishkek and en route visit to Burana Tower (old minaret) near Tokmok city. That minaret was constructed in Balasagun town, one of the capitals of Karakhanid State existed in 12 centuries AD. Also, watch a collection of Balbals, Turkic ancient stone statues. Lunch en route. Continue drive to the capital. Upon arrival accommodation at the hotel. Dinner and overnight in hotel, 800 m

The insurance

Requirements for the insurance of the clients on trekking / mountaineering:

1) GLOBAL VOYAGER must not be the assist of your insurance company
2) the insurance cover must be no less than 30000$ (including evacuation by helicopter coverage of 20000$ and 10000$ for the first aid treatment)
3) in the field "activitiy" or "sports" you must indicate "Trekking / Mountaineering"
4) "country of stay" indicate Kyrgyzstan
5) The insurance policy dates must coinside with the dates of stay in Kyrgyzstan
6) the certificate of insurance must cover at least the first medical aid and transportation of the injured person with the help of the helicopter if necessary (please clarify this upon the issue of the policy)

Before you issue the certificate of insurance please clarify the assists the insurance company works with!
Please remember: our company does not work with GLOBAL VOYAGER as the assist! That is why in case of purchasing the certificate from the company the assist of which is GLOBAL VOYAGER all the costs will be covered by you.

Equipment

For this trip you will need the following:

- 4 season sleeping bag
- walking boots
- waterproof jacket and trousers
- fleece jacket or similar
- warm hat and gloves
- sunglasses
- a daypack of around 40 liters
- head-torch and batteries
- 2 x 1 liter water bottles
- sun cream.

A down jacket, pair of sandals and walking sticks are recommended.

Always on the tables: honey, jam, sugar, condensed milk, dried fruits, cookies or sweets, salt, pepper, ketchup.
Breakfast:
Each breakfast consists of porridge and additional dish.
Additional dish: omelet with bacon, omelet with cheese, fried sausages, pancakes, cheesecakes, scrambled eggs with sausage, boiled eggs.

Dinner:
Each supper consists of salad, soup, main dish and dessert.
Salads: funchoza(starch noodles), rice with crab sticks, eggs with fish, cabbage with carrot, greek salad, beans with onion, cod-liver with eggs.
Soups: minestrone, kesme, lentil puree soup, rice soup, pumpkin puree soup, fish soup and soup with dumplings.
Main dish: kuurdak, pilaf, stew with spaghetti and cheese, dymlyama, stuffed pepper, lagman, befstroganof with rice.
Dessert: cakes, waffles, fruits and rolls.

Lunch-box:
Buffet will be served after breakfast, where participants will be able to choose the products for lunch-box: bread, tortillas, different types of sausage, cheese and pate, canned goods, boiled eggs, vegetables, fruits, dried fruits, as well as biscuit and chocolate bar, juice, sparkling or still water.

Prices

The price of program in 2025: 2790 USD per person.

SGL accommodation in hotels: 100 USD per person.

Accommodation on TWIN/DBL base at hotels and tents – 14 nights.
