The mountain range Terskey Ala Too is located in North-Eastern Kyrgyzstan. Its distinguishing characteristics are: the second largest glaciation center in Tien Shan. There are 1100 glaciers covering 1081 sq.km in total, 375km long and 5281m above sea level at its highest point.“Ak-Sai Travel” Company invites you to the trekking program “Taste of Tien Shan”. During the trek you have an opportunity to see the highest peaks of Terskey mountain range: Oguz Bashi (5165m), Karakol (5216m), Palatka (5020m). We pass by the famous glacial lake Aka Kol (3532m), which means “colorful lake” in Kyrgyz language. The route goes over Telety (3800m) and Ala Kol (3800m) passes. At the end of the route we stop for resting and recreation at the hot mineral springs “Altyn Arashan” (“Golden Springs” from Kyrgyz language).
