South Engilchek Base Camp

The South Engilchek Base Camp is located at an altitude of about 4000 meters on the glacier of the same name in the Northern Tien Shan. The camp has about 60 double tents on wooden platforms, ensuring comfort and stability. These high-altitude points offer breathtaking panoramic views of the majestic Khan-Tengri and Pobeda peaks, which are impressive in their scale and beauty.

The camp plays an important role for different categories of travelers. For climbers, it is the starting point for ascents to legendary peaks, and for trekkers, it is the long-awaited final stop after routes from Jyrgalan, At-Jailoo, and Echkili-Tash.

For those who simply want to enjoy the high-altitude nature, the camp offers a unique opportunity to see the glacier, its moraines, and crystal-clear mountain lakes, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the Northern Tien-Shan.

Comfortable two-person tents are provided for accommodation at Base Camp.

Double occupancy with breakfast – 50 USD per person
Double occupancy with breakfast and dinner – 90 USD per person
Double occupancy with three meals a day, including a lunch box for the day trip – 100 USD per person
Single occupancy – additional charge of 20 USD per person

All accommodation options include cozy double tents with comfortable mattresses, ensuring a restful night after an eventful day on the glacier and in the mountains. The choice of suitable meal options allows each guest to organize their stay at the camp in a way that suits them best, combining comfort and freedom to plan their active vacation.

The Base Camp has everything you need for a comfy stay for tourists, climbers, and trekkers.

Food:

The camp offers three meals a day: breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Lunch boxes are provided for day trips so that tourists can take food with them on the route.

If there are vegetarians or vegans in the group, please notify the company in advance so that appropriate meals can be arranged.

Washing area and bathhouse: separate tent for guests’ convenience, including a Russian bathhouse (sauna) for relaxation after an active day

Electric generator, satellite communication, and Starlink internet for communication with the outside world
Walkie-talkies for communicating with climbers on routes and coordinating helicopter flights
Equipment rental: tents, ropes, gas burners, pots
Guide and porter services to accompany groups and assist with luggage
The camp maintains radio communication with the Karkyr camp, which allows it to stay informed about all operations, including helicopter flights
