North Engilchek Base Camp

The North Engilchek Base Camp is located at an altitude of about 4000 meters on the glacier of the same name in the Northern Tien-Shan. Here, among the majestic mountain ranges, there are about 40 double tents on wooden platforms, which provide comfort and stability even in the harsh conditions of the high mountains. The camp offers breathtaking panoramic views of the main gem of these places – the legendary Khan-Tengri peak.

For climbers, this is the starting point for reaching the peaks, especially Khan-Tengri, which has become the dream of many mountain conquerors. And for those who want to experience the beauty and power of nature without climbing, Northern Engilchek offers a unique opportunity to touch the pristine beauty of glaciers, walk along moraines, and admire crystal-clear mountain lakes. Here, everyone can immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the majestic and untouched Northern Tien-Shan.

Comfortable double tents are provided for accommodation at Base Camp.

Double occupancy with breakfast – 50 USD per person
Double occupancy with breakfast and dinner – 90 USD per person
Double occupancy with three meals a day, including a lunch box for the day trip – $100 per person
Single occupancy – additional charge of USD 20 per person

All accommodation options include cozy double tents with comfortable mattresses, ensuring a restful night after a busy day on the glacier and in the mountains. The choice of suitable meal options allows each guest to organize their stay at the camp in a way that suits them best, combining comfort and freedom to plan their active vacation.

The Base Camp has everything you need for a comfy stay for tourists, climbers, and trekkers.

Food:

The camp offers three meals a day: breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Lunch boxes are provided for day trips so that tourists can take food with them on the route.

If there are vegetarians or vegans in the group, please notify the company in advance so that appropriate meals can be arranged.

Tents for accommodation: about 40 tents
Dining tent for 50 people, serving all meals
Kitchen tent for cooking
Doctor’s tent for providing first aid
Washing area and bathhouse: separate tent for guests’ convenience, including a Russian bathhouse (sauna) for relaxation after an active day
3 toilets in different areas of the camp
Storage room for equipment and food
Helipad for receiving and dispatching flights
Electric generator, satellite communication, and Starlink internet for communication with the outside world
Walkie-talkies for communicating with climbers on routes and coordinating helicopter flights
Equipment rental: tents, ropes, gas burners, pots
Guide and porter services to accompany groups and assist with luggage
The camp maintains radio communication with the Karkyr camp, which allows it to stay informed about all operations, including helicopter flights.
