In the morning, we set off from Osh to the village of Kozho-Kelen. The road passes through picturesque landscapes: majestic mountains, green meadows, flower fields, and shepherd camps.
On the way, we will stop at the Papan Reservoir – an important water source for the entire city of Osh, as well as for irrigating farmlands in Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.
The route is 100 km long and takes about 3.5 hours. It follows the Ak-Buura River, with emerald arch-shaped mountains framing the road on both sides.
Upon arrival in Kozho-Kelen (2,230 m), we will be greeted at a guest house by a local family, where we will settle in and relax. Lunch will be served in lunch boxes.
After lunch, we will go on an acclimatization hike (2–3 hours) to the Blue Grotto and waterfall. The trail runs through narrow mountain canyons with whimsical shapes and unusual-colored cliffs.
In the evening, we return to the guest house, rest, and have dinner.
