Autumn Quest in Karagacheva Grove

We are glad to share another report on the “Autumn Quest” which was held in Karagacheva Grove for our children from the Military Antonovskiy orphanage and schoolchildren from three schools in Bishkek.

This time, there were 90 people, 30 children from an orphanage and 60 children from Bishkek schools.

What is the autumn quest? These are different and varied outdoor activities. Our team has prepared an interesting program that included 5 stations which were located at different points in the park.

At each station, the guys had to show solidarity and teamwork, because the tasks were not only for speed but also for the accuracy of performance, as well, participants tried to show trust to each other, for example, at the station where they were blindfolded and only one person could see where to go, and he had to lead his team.

On another task, the participants had to show unity literally to become one, in order to lower the reed to the floor, at first glance nothing complicated, in fact, turned out to be quite different. All the children were divided into teams in such a way that they could get to know other guys from a different school.

Let us remind that one of the goals of the Travel Discover Help project is the adaptation of students of orphanages in society so that children have an opportunity to communicate with other children outside the orphanage.

This was a weekend time in our project, but we are not stopping at this, we still have a lot of useful and interesting things ahead.
