Report on Summer Kids Camp “Treasure of the 21st century” in Tup village Issyk Kul region
Travel Discover Help project together with “New Youth Generation” ond held another summer kids program for children from 5 up to 13 years old in Tup village in July, 2018.
We would like to thank the Kazakbaevs family for invitation to hold summer camp in their family house, for very warm welcome of our team and the tastiest meal.
Thanks to all who helped to organize this event. During these five days 40 children participated in the program.
It was raining on the first day of the program and we worried if the kids will come. Fortunately we waited not so long and they finally arrived all wet but happy. Our funny clowns met them and started the greetings and familiarization part right away.
We started our first day with introducing of our new participants to the old ones and continued with playing games.
Each day was full of games, batons, water contests organized by sport volunteer Ruslan Verhovodov. Children dedicated sometime to handicrafts lessons with assistance of our personnel Olga Katanceva and Toimatova Nurkan. The project counselors Djoldoshbekova Jibek, Tonkonogova Galina and Toimatova Nurkan also conducted other interesting lessons of different subject. Also kids studied English language everyday with Aziza, a volunteer from Spain.
And of course all kids were preparing songs, dances and sketches for the final concert for their parents. During the concert all three teams demonstrated their performances with so much talent and effort. During the project our sponsors presented different gifts to the kids.
We were so happy to hear the appreciation of the parents and very warm comments about our work. They told us how happy their kids were, full of joy and positive emotions. And they are looking forward to meet us next year.
