“Travel, Discover, Help” – project to support children from orphanages

Charitable initiative by Ak-Sai Travel

For many years, Ak-Sai Travel has been supporting orphanages and public organizations in Kyrgyzstan. We understand that it is often difficult for such institutions to obtain even the minimum funds necessary for their existence. Their activities are mainly supported by enthusiasts and volunteers who put their heart and soul into their work. However, their efforts are sometimes insufficient, which is why we decided to contribute.

Launch of a long-term project

In 2016, we launched our social project “Travel, Discover, Help,” which aims not only to provide material assistance to children, but also to create a comprehensive sports and educational program.

The main idea behind the project is simple: the most valuable things we can give children are attention, involvement, and new experiences.

Program objectives and goals

The program lasts for one year and includes regular activities. It helps children:

• learn more about their homeland and the history of Kyrgyzstan;
• be proud of your country’s culture and nature;
• communicate with interesting people;
• find friends and develop team spirit;
• feel the attention and care that they often lack.

Trips and activities for children

The project includes trips in different seasons—winter, spring, and summer. To do this, we use our company’s resources:

• transportation for comfortable travel;
• tent and yurt camps in Karkyra and Son-Kul;
• support from professional guides and instructors.

The program organizes one-day and multi-day tours that include sports, educational, and cultural activities.

Cooperation with the New Generation Youth Foundation

An important part of the project was the partnership with the public foundation “New Generation of Youth”, which has many years of experience in organizing similar events. Thanks to joint efforts, the “Travel, Discover, Help” program has become even more effective and rich.

Contributing to the future of Kyrgyzstan’s children

The “Travel, Discover, Help” project is not a one-off campaign, but a long-term charitable initiative that helps children from orphanages not only materially, but also spiritually.

We believe that every child deserves attention, support, and the opportunity to see the world more broadly. Travel and new knowledge are precisely what give children hope, confidence, and the strength to move forward.
